Love makes us do crazy things.

I know people feel that RKB's character is being butchered to elevate Mani's character but let's evaluate today's episode with a perspective that our beloved RKB is now in LOVE and that changes everything!

1) Why is that Raman was calm during Amma's accident but behaving like a brute now? - I think RKB has evolved as a person after Ishita's entry in his life, his relationship with Ishita is also evolving every day. When Amma's accident happened, he cared for Ishita but he wasn't in love with her, he cared for her as his children's mother and wanted to make sure she is okay as a friend. He was calm and composed trying to be a support system for Ishita. Today his support system, HIS Ishita is in trouble, and like any loving Husband he loses his cool.

He had asked Ishita after the accident track: "Adi mere kamzori hai, par tum mere himmat/takat bano"

Today, his LOVE for Ishita is as deep and great like his love for his children, how would we expect Raman to react if Adi or Ruhi were in trouble? Would he be sane or lose his cool, similarly his outburst today is a sign that Ishita now holds a greater significance in his life and he cannot see anything happen to HIS wife, and now HIS LOVE.

2) Why is Mani shown to be so Mahan knowing all about Ishita and RKB is being sidelined? - Let's ask ourselves, have RKB and Ishita been good spouses? The answer is a resounding NO! Raman and Ishita are lousy spouses, they are good supportive friends, amazing kids to their parents, ideal siblings and doting parents but they are horrible spouses. And I am not even talking about the physical intimacy, they never evolved as partners because they stopped themselves at their role of being a parent to Ruhi. Did Raman ever wonder about Ishita as a person, her likes, her dislikes, her hopes and dreams? Forget her likes or dislikes, did he ever make her feel comfortable for Ishita to confide in him about her past? Yes they are happy now in their current status quo of being good friends and being supportive to each other but it ends there.

This development will only make Raman realize the void in his relationship with Ishita, he needs to be a better husband to his wife whom now he LOVES. He needs to know his WIFE Ishita, her past, her hopes, and her desires!

A sane, educated, CEO Raman would not have lost his cool at the hospital or felt bad about not knowing enough about Ishita, but now this same Insane, educated, CEO RKB is in LOVE!! And Love makes us do crazy things!!

"Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses." - Ann Landers

So our Ishra are in love, and their love has settled for less than perfection and allow human weakness, and RKB's weakness is his anger in times of distress then so be it.

Totally agree..most of all what you said about thw void in their relationship and them being lousy spouses is very right. They have lately been like very good friends but they need to know the difference and move forward in their relationship.

Lovely post! This is the slow evolution of RKB from the suave guy who always thought he had everything in control to the person who was going nuts today. Why ? This is love. Love which overrides any kind of calm or control in that moment. Today when Raman saw Ishita in that state, his brain stopped working as his heart pounded in fear for his wife. He did not give a damn about anything whether the strike or the doctor was unavailable, all this was secondary and the only thing that mattered was the well being of Ishita.

When he hears Mani answering all the questions correctly,he will realize how less he knows about her. Now he WANTS to know more about her because he has fallen in love. All this while she was Ruhi ki maa but now she was already becoming Mrs Raman Kumar Bhalla <3

Love has done stranger things! 😳

I think they will slowly progress in their relationship from being friends to partners in life!

Very well put... but still I am not convinced, no amount of love can justify Raman's shoutings today. He really behaved very badly today... He was completely illogical in today's episode. He reminded me of a person staying on footpath.
However he must be in love, a person do not become so illogical.

Couldn't have said it in better! Love does override any and all emotions, today we got to see first sight of RKB in love! He doesn't know it yet but he is behaving like a man hopelessly in love with wife. I can't wait to see how their relationship progresses, more than the rain dance and physical intimacy scenes I love mature Ishra conversation where they lay their soul out in the open. Can't wait for 1) Raman's internal struggle and realization 2) His conversation with Ishita as her HUSBAND in a true sense.

Love has done stranger things!!!! - Amen to that! 😳

I agree that rude behavior should never be justified but that's sane you and me thinking. God forbid if our loved is in trouble and the hospital staff for whatever reason refuses to do their job, I don't know how I would react. I am a healthcare professional and I have seen my patient's families react by punching the walls to some going in a silent shock. Sanity is a gift of the calm, when distress takes over we end up becoming less human.
