Well! I really liked the episode and to talk about the one scene in particular
I loved the one particular scene where in Raman and Mani are sitting with the doctor!
Initially I was taken aback that why is Mani sitting here, it should have been Appa but what followed stunned me. Seriously, it was really good, it requires maturity to actually realise the intensity of that scene. We've seen all cute moments between Raman and Ishita and mostly scenes revolve around Raman only. I'm so glad they touched upon Ishita. Also, Mani significance was very good. I'm in no way blaming Raman. He's wonderful as he is but there are instances where he didn't touch upon the subjects in her life as much as needed. The fertility issue required a detailed talk which never happened. So many cases, a heart felt conversation was required but all we got was his wit and sarcasm. Like it or not, somewhere down the line he really doesn't know her. Had he confidently answered all the questions posed by the doctor, it would have looked fake to me because we really have not witnessed those scenes. We've seen cute lovely romance and amazing camaraderie which is delightful to watch, but not once have we witnessed the intense topics which require discussion.
He really doesn't know her, He loves her, yes, he cares for her the most. Absolutely! But because he has been terribly heart broken once and endured a sham of a marriage. He has walls built all around, and the writers had focused solely on Ishita seeping in through the walls and showing how he has changed, which was again fantastic, but Raman never took an initiative to know her. And it's a fact. Had these questions posed to Ishita, it would have taken a second for her to answer and we as viewers wouldn't have minded at all. Atleast I wouldn't have.
Rest, It was decent
Ashok was hilarious but right on his part! mani as you pointed out might soon become the meddler :P
And Bala and Romi are upto something!
