We've seen Raman shout before but this time it was different.

This time there was so much frustration. I don't think he really meant to say those words to Ishita in that manner. He was taking his anger out on something different and it was unfortunately projected at Ishita.

Raman is frustrated because just when he thought his life could move on...Ashok had to show his true colors again. Ashok couldn't live up to his part which is to marry Shagun and give her a "name" and "place".

Raman knows the only way for him and his family to live a more peaceful life is for Shagun to get her peace. This was the exact same thing he told Mihir during the balcony scene. Shagun has tied all her hopes and aspirations on Ashok. For her marrying Ashok will give her the peace she needs to move on in her life.

But now that Ashok has decided to back out and blurt out the truth while drunk Shagun goes back to being Raman's problem.

Unfortunately, Ishita was present and witnessed him straying. She informed Raman and now he is forced to deal with the situation. He's angry at the fact that why did they have to find out now just when he's ready to move on in his life and not have all these distractions...why did Ishita have to tell him this information? Why did they have to catch Ashok in the act and lying so blatantly? Why did this have to happen now?

I agree that Raman shouldn't have said those words. And he needs to be extremely careful because he is giving a bunch of mixed signals to Ishita. If he continues down this path Ishita will eventually feel that Raman does not love her and is still in love with Shagun. And when the time comes Ishita will gracefully make her exit out of Raman's life. I've seen enough Ekta shows and I know that there will be a separation track and generally comes just before or right after confession of love due to some strange circumstance.

I love your analysis of the situation..Him being frustrated is absolutely justified..
He wants to get rid of the baggage from his life, but was it really a way of taking out his frustrations.? She didn't even ask him to talk to shagun, she only said be calm and then think. It was his decision to talk to Shagun and follow her to Ashok's..
Ashok has always been provoking him and most of the time he succeeds. But taking it out on Ishita in such a harsh way was uncalled for. Firstly, it wasn't her call to go to their place and secondly, how justified is it for him to blast her for the words Ashok said.?

The last para of your post sums it all up.. And then she will be portrayed as the Mahaan one, like always.! That's exactly the problem, nothing is drastically changing between them.. With every track they end up on square one...

I completely agree that Raman should not have yelled at Ishita at all. She wasn't at fault and she wasn't meddling. I think it was the first time she actually communicated something to Raman instead of running off playing detective or warning Shagun herself. She passed that info to Raman and told him to take some time to think about it and decide what he wants to do. She did not instruct him to do anything.

Raman choose to speak to Shagun immediately but he spent like the first 3 minutes of the conversation "beating around the bush" Some of his questions almost sounded as if he cared for Shagun again. Though we know based on what we've seen Raman has moved on. He does not think of Shagun in the romantic sense anymore. He has an obligation/relationship with her because she is the mother of his children. That is a fact. Nothing more or less. It is what she is. That is her identity to him now. However, Shagun a woman who loves to play games and may think it something else and I'm sure we'll see her manipulate some situation after she gets kicked out by Ashok to come calling back into Raman's life.

Ishita was right in informing Raman of wat she heard from Asok. She even said to Mihika dat Raman is d apt person to talk to Shagun.

I don't find Raman at fault in opting to talk to Shagun n clear the her misconceptions. And he was doing wat exactly Ishita thought to herself as a solution. So is nobody seeing an understanding b/w dem even without words.

Nw on Raman trying to make Shagun understand with a brief lecture- if Raman directly starts d conversation saying wat Ishita heard, does anyone think she wil remain der for even a sec.

Raman deciding to accompany Shagun to meet Asok - Wen he tried to make her understand the situation she was just blaming n accusing him n Ishita. So wat is wrong if he decides to go with her to clear d whole mess at once wen he was worried dat his son wil b affected. And again Raman being selfish for his son is justified for me bcoz it makes it clear dat he is nt bothered for Shagun.

Raman shouting at Ishita - agree dat shouting cannot solve everything always, but it is a truth that irrespective of being educated or uneducated, in real der r a lot of people who resorts to shouting mechanism to ease out frustration. Raman shouting was not out of d blue but in continuation of a conversation where Ishita undoubtedly brought the topic again after facing the insult (on loc videos being d proof;successfully edited out; wen fans r ready to discuss n burn their heads for the assumption based spoilers y nt believe an alredy shown on loc video). And der r people who utter terribly hurting words, unintentionally in fit of anger. The best egs for me being myself n my husband; but we r happily together. So success lies wen u can differentiate b/w d words said by ur spouse wen he/she is in anger, pain, frustration etc. So, ishita being more understanding dan Raman shows patience. Raman who gets uncontrollably angry (not his fault afterall it is an emotion), has to tone down, which is wat Ishita is working on but forgets at times, by herself creating situations.
