I don't know if this is known here, and I'm sorry if it has already been posted here before, but I just found out that her son is a youtuber, and before she was discovered for Mrs. Bhalla's role, she used to make appearances on his videos. She used to be a tuition teacher in England, before she auditioned for this role. He has made a video about her journey to bollywood.

Honestly, after watching this video, my respect for Mrs. Bhalla has increased. She has had to stay away from her family and live alone in a completely new and different place. You can see that she really does miss her family back home.
