Pomegranate,
I agree fully. The magic resurfaces frequently. I am unable to rationalize most plot twists though. 😕
Ekta has created yet another rare combination like Pavitra Rishta. Her lead pairs stay in memory long after a show ends. This will remain in mine for sure. I never watched either's original show, though I have watched many many Ekta shows for the first 6 months. I hold out on hope that this will not be decimated after confession or consummation, since pregnancy is not a simple choice in this one. Most side characters never stay in memory in this one Mrs Bhalla and Mrs Iyer have almost become a brand. They are unique and original. It happens very rarely
The villians are quite mediocre, nothing memorable about them IMO.
I am glad Ashok has big mean plans now. Having him on the show is a good thing. It means Karan Patel's role becomes legitimate. I want it to be a Karan Patel show... I have the choice of watching two dozen "female lead" shows. Dont care for any of them. I dont want this to turn into one of those. As long as there is a strong negative lead, chances are Karan will not turn into a door mat with one bedroom scene at nite. There is no towering matriarch like the other shows, no Bas, no Dadis, no Dadi sas etc... people cowering and trembling at the grand dinner table.
Arranging for one pooja or other, one Hindu festival or other. The families are not huge either, with 5 brothers, 4 sisters and such. Everything is crisp and to the point in this show
In that sense Ekta has indeed "experimented" Not sure if the 7:30 slot will arm twist her into bringing long lost siblings to the fore.
I dont care for making out in any state of undress, conversations like yesterday do more than any "act" can for me. As long as there is that, AND Karan Patel sharing 50% or more of screen time my interest will be sustained.😃
