...how I wish we could get to see Subbu again..though I know we wont get anything like this from his point of view ( ..for which we have our writers for 😉 ) I want Subbu to make an appearance at least and show us some of his colors. Who knows, it could be really different from what we think or imagine. We know Ishu, she must have seen something really good in Subbu to love him so much, for so many years right?. I'd kill to get a backstory of Ishita-Sibbu from YHM makers 😆

And I would love to explore their story ...and the fact Ishu fell for him at 15..it can be shown that the love was well sprung from attraction - which was mutual you know, like how Raman-Shagun never really were in love he was crazy about her cos she is beautiful and she used him... so in a way it could be something similar but unless they go down there we wont know 😳

I too loved the episode but for entirely different reasons. Ishita gave a hint but it was Raman who elaborately explained it and I fell in love once again.😳😆
I think Ishita's character has been ruined. She is no longer the simple, pure soul she was. The mahaanta has gotten in to her. Now every action of hers seems pretentious and patronising. I, for one, wanted her to apologise for interfering and prodding so much in to Mihir's life. I thought Raman would be angry. The scenes were abrupt and there was total lack of connection between the successive scenes.
Yet, Raman made me forget all that. I was reminded of your stories throughout his dialogue. The style was similar.

Honestly no she hasnt been ruined Sneha this woman broke her engagement cos she saved a child and didnt regret it, she didnt bow down because she didnt think she made a mistake..the thing is here she was acting impulsively all over again but the root cause of these actions is the fact she is forming feelings towards Raman, she knew of the attachment but LOVE...that is still not realized and I think the fact Raman wasnt angry was because - a) Mihir finally got a closure because of this so something good came of it and b) his wife was acting and behaving like one at last - she finally is waking up to them and him and it made him so happy he couldnt be angry 😳

Subbu is an unchatered character and bringing him in, is a fantastic move; showing him what he has lost, even though he has his own family, where he would receive the same kind of love and care, it's still not the same as watching your 1st love with someone else. Now, he would know what Ishita must have endured in the past. The best part in this is...lost opportunities, lost relationships, lost moments...all this is from Subbu's side. For Ishita, she has moved on...Love this.
