She even learned about Adi on the day they got married... no marriage can work in the absence of trust issues, communication problems and past baggages - which is what is coming to the fore among both the couples - IshRa and MiMi - one who couldn't see eye to eye and are barely able to even acknowledge the other now matters to them while the second one has been in love for years but still the lines of communication arent open.

@bold---- true aani... this confusion never would have happen...now lets wait to see...

After Bhalla Sr. leaves Raman mutters how weird is this woman she wanted a water tanker and from her signs he understood she needs a cylinder... which is exactly what she wanted.

These two understand each other so well now, they can interpret each other' gestures, the motives - but still they AREN'T talking here - in clear, precise words and terms and whatever they learn is hearsay that is why they can't trust even their instincts which are right when it comes to understanding the other - the lack of communication and an unwillingness to take a leap of faith in each other and themselves makes them want to not trust even their own gut, their minds here.

Interestingly when the prasad problem comes Raman again gets angry and says why play this game of snakes and ladders instead of coming straight to me - now what is the basic premise of snakes and ladders - you roll the dice with a favorable number and you climb a ladder, which is progress - no one ever comes down from that ladder, but get an unfavorable number and you land at the mouth of the snake which can make you lose a winning game too... interesting, amazing inference here.

They are indeed at a simile here - they make the right moves and they have moments like the recent dance, the day when Raman said they would make new memories and the likes but when the roll the wrong way it ends up making them go through a downfall and they have to start working towards the finish line all over again

BRILLIANT BRILLIANT AANi ..

& PERFECT ... ( as madhuri says 😉)

When i heard that dialog yesterday about the snakes & ladder thing .. i was grinning like a fool .. it was so bang on ... thats their story .. u go up & then u take one misstep ( which may just be fate) & u come tumbling down .. but the best thing is u get up again & take another chance .. till such time as destiny & all fall in place & u reach ur goal & the ultimate prize ..

Last night i read an interesting post by GANBARUNFAN .. must read .. she has used pics of the puja to actually explain the scene ..
it is during havan when Ishita brings her palm below Raman's .. she leaves a gap ... but he guides her palm below his own ... nothing cud better describe what will happen in this track than this .. .. there are gaps in their relation & communication .. & this will need to be bridged & shud be bridged by Raman ..

When Mihir introduces his friend to Ishita .. it was interesting ... the friend says .. I have never heard about u .. but he had heard lots about Raman .. & before he could say anything else Mihir cuts in ... Raman yet again makes a quip about their marriage .. & she says SOME PEOPLE DONT MOVE BEYOND THEIR PAST .. & he says .. IF I KNEW WHAT MY FUTURE WAS I WOULD HOLD ON TO MY PAST ...she goes away .. but RAMAN's eyes only FOLLOW her & Stay on her .. he has a confused look . trying to fathom what the woman was saying ...

It was a nok jhok session .. but it will be immensely important for Raman to understand ISHITA's state of mind ...

Anyways .. i am in for the ride ... melodrama & OTT emotional outbursts are part & parcel of a TV show .. u gotta take that with a pinch of salt ... every emotion has to be magnified & made larger than life .. otherwise it does not connect ..

This is brilliant Aani! That is exactly what they need to realise that despite their understanding each other without the other having to voice it, words are an integral part of an effective communication that in turn leads to a successful relationship. And both need to work on that.

Regarding your previous post, in my opinion coming clean about Shagun is Mihir's prerogative. Raman and the Bhallas are not at fault here for keeping it a secret. Raman tried a few times with Mihir but had to respect his decision and go along with him in keeping mum. Raman and the family are simply respecting Mihir's point of view here, not deliberately trying to keep Ishita in the dark. Mihir has been so adamant about it that he didn't even give in to Mihika...he was willing to risk the relationship at the cost of this secret. And the Iyers agreed to the marriage knowing all this. And this is where I differ with Ishita. It is not always about what and how you percieve things. The other person even if wrong should be respected. And when she counseled Mihika to give Mihir time to come clean about his past, where did that seekh suddenly disappear? She gives her vote to a stranger against her husband and her devar/brother/jiju, all on the basis of presumptions. This ends up not only making her look like a fool and a pawn used by Shagun but she also fails in her assessment of two important males in her life post marriage. All the tracks shown so far have all been aimed towards IshRa trusting each other. But what is frustrating is that after every track they again seem to be back at the same spot and the trust developed in the last track goes out on a hike! And that is what bothers some and comes across as inconsistency of characters.

Again I loved your post so much as that gas cylinder scene stood out to me completely show cases what their relationship is all about. I thought I was over analysing that whole gas cylinder thing... Am glad you noticed it too

She gestures him to get Gas cylinder. He understands her BUT he dismisses her by showing her his watch which is what results in them not getting to what they really want...

Should Raman if he understands what's going on also step up and clarify and resolve issues when Ishita actually asks?

I think this us what will make him realise that he needs to step up and resolve all the misconceptions and clarify what the reality fir Raman is now.

Yep cause Ishita try as she might still cannot bring herself to commit because she feels he doesn't trust her as he does not share things with her, she is unwilling to make that progress because she fears a heartbreak... her lines - it hurts her cos he hides things from her, even when she understands - never ridicules or mocks him ... hence even in the dance he had to make the attempts cos she wasn't willing to open up and face another joke or taunt, not after he has said I love you twice and taken it back ... to her trust won't come easy cos she cannot see things from his end as a commitment to her - like she said he shows care but they haven't romanced - the care is for a friend, a woman he married, the woman raising his child... but romance - it can only come when they are Raman and Ishita and no one else.

When Mihir introduces his friend to Ishita .. it was interesting ... the friend says .. Yep that scene stood out too what one says and what the heart feels arent always one and the same as is also it true that as many minds as many interpretations of the same things to him it was a way to rile her up so she may react, respond - do something, anything that snaps her out of this silent mode - this inertia... but all she took away from that was - he still doesn't want me. He would rather live in the pain of the past - get drunk like hell for a woman who left him but not want me

Anyways .. i am in for the ride ... melodrama & OTT emotional outbursts are part & parcel of a TV show .. u gotta take that with a pinch of salt ... every emotion has to be magnified & made larger than life .. otherwise it does not connect ..

I always say - when its Indian shows be ready with a bag of salt and not just a pinch 😆 - the longer the show runs, the more you would need the salt

BINGO Aani.. this is exactly what we were trying to say since yesterday.
Snakes and ladders have a deep meaning akin to despair and hope - Fall and rise.
Life Is full of them. For every ladder there is a snake. But you need to move on and move UP. The strive to go up shouldn't stop..
Ladders of trust, faith, hope take you up, while the snakes of lies and deceit pull you down.
In Raman and Ishita's life there are lot of snakes, but they hold the ladders to go up.
there are many instances where they did not communicate and the snakes created the problems
A communication brought up the ladder to rise above the problem

During Ruhi's custody Shagun and AShok knew that Ishita and Raman didn't trust each other, so they played a game to get Ruhi. A chance of dice - Ishita overheard the hostel talk and Ruhi "communicated" with Ishita and a decision of marriage was taken

During the Accident track - Shagun didn't allow Raman to "communicate" the problem to Ishita - by giving an Adi ki Kasam - again the serpent raises its hood.
Lots of misunderstandings - but trust was there (as Ishu herself tells Raman)
Again A game was played on their miscommunication (Ashok going to her clinic and bringing her face to face with Raman) - the trust failed. they zoomed down the chute till Ishita realizes what Raman was upto and she questions that why didn't he trust that she would understand him
Communicated - they were up the ladder again.

The point is that first the enemies knew the lack of trust and played with it. When now they see the trust they are playing with the lack of communication.

These tracks are to remove the lacking...

yep read ur PM 😉 ...

Look at the planning .. Param is not anywhere around during the tilak ceremony ..& theres a reason for that as well ... its a really rounded script .
I am actually amazed at how well planned this whole writing has been .. & how it has fallen in with the time slot change .. for once i am impressed with Star & the PH

Actually a lot of viewers tend to see a particular scene in isolation the moment u link it to the bigger picture u get it .. like in the case of shaggy at bhalla house in isolation the scene was meaningless .. but now on hindsight it makes sense .. but believe u me i got roggered then as well in the forum for putting these current thots then as well 😉

similarly if u see this scene in isolation ... a lot of the dissatisfaction people in the forum feel is justified .. but then if u pause & see it in relation with the story & track it makes perfect sense ..

this track if it was about bro & sis then it was wrong way for disclosure .. but this is not about bro & sis .. it is about ishita & raman .. what other way can u show them in the middle of it all .. they are not communicating with each other .. thats the obvious HINT the writer gives u .. these 2 don't have lines of communication open .. then the writer gives u hint no. 2 .. they are not talking coz Ishita feels raman has not opened up about his past to her a past called sanjana ...

But the reality is there is no sanjana in Raman's past .. but how is ishita to know that ??? 😳

Thats the brilliance of a well rounded script ... each & every nuance brings u back to the centre of the plot
