With no expectations, better the surprises. We got good Ishra scenes for two days in a row.
Now even though I think they were there to appease viewers, I don't mind coz they were nice, showing a little progress and sexual tension/physical awareness which was seriously lacking lately.
Yesterday was really funny with Raman's male ego being hurt. KP nailed it. Plus it was good to know that those two are comfortable enough to spend times alone watching films together. It's sweet.
The palak paneer scene was good with the little family. Raman getting trapped by his own habit of teasing Ishita by his taunts was 😆 Puttar had no other choice than to admit defeat. That he gave her a sincere compliment later again was sweet. Hope however that the promise won't be used to put pressure on him over a serious matter. It won't be fair at all.
The whole sequence with the misunderstanding and Raman getting his hands on his wife's lingerie was hilarious. I was pleasantly surprised that Ishita didn't mind at all appearing in front of her husband in a bathrobe. The embarrassment mixed with awareness were aptly portrayed by KP and DT.
I have also noticed that in the last two episodes, proud biwi Ishita made a come back. Yesterday she seemed to appreciate and like that sensitive, "feminine" side of Raman. For her it was not a matter of mockery at all. Tonight, big smile on her face she said that mere pati is not foolish. Very nice.
Now I hope those scenes were not 'a last meal' kind of thing either. I am really worried over the time slot change news. This boldness in dialogues, Raman with Ishita's underwears in his hand, sexual tension and innuendos, mature theme, we won't get at 7:30pm slot. Only jasoosi Ishita and MCP saas will fit in that slot. YHM and its essence gaya tel lene 😭 Gosh what are SP people thinking 😡
Coming back to the epi and less pleasant parts:
In the param and Ishita confrontation, once again I was rooting for Param. His kameenapan was good. He was not intimidated in the least (ofc) and aptly told Ishita that he is the last person from whom she should expect an honest answer.
Sadly once again Ishita came across as extremely naive/foolish. Btw can someone tell me why exactly she seems so taken by this Sanjana? She only knows the girl for barely 2 days and already she is meddling, giving lecture in patronizing tone and apparently ready to be her shield 🤪She saw Param with her and Sanjana being a woman she automatically assumed her to be the victim. For all Ishita knows (that is absolutely nothing) this Sanjana can be as devious as Param!
Speaking of the new entry, she definitely seems to be fake. I am doubting she is even an Arora at all. Her actions/reactions are anything but subtle. She is obviously fishy as if she wants for Ishita to notice her.
Sanjana playing the fake sister does raise questions however:
- if she works for Param, how did she get her hand on that childhood picture? It can only be provided by either PP or Shagun
- if she works with or for PP, I fail to understand how that would help. PP's motive/concern as of now is only Ruhi. To Ishita, Ruhi and Mihir's sister have no link.
- if she works for Shagun, I again fail to understand what it would achieve, how it would benefit her. Plus Shagun has other bigger fish to fry than to divert Ishita from a relation she isn't even aware of to begin with
- if she is not related to Aroras, how come Raman seemed to know her
It's all confusing...
I don't understand why Toshi and Raman are lying about PP. If PP is really Shagun's mother, there is no point of hiding it from Ishita as she already knows Raman's past. They dont have to drag Mihir's name in at all 😕 That would have made Ishita realize that Poornima's interest for her and Ruhi was not innocent/fortuitous. Who knows maybe that would have taught Ishita to be more cautious...
