There are many to read I know but still there are many to complete too. And I think its high time I should complete few of my pending stories. Replies will also be there soon.
The reason why I had not updated this one since long was it was planned to be ishra coming close through Adi custody. That was my point of view. But in our show, Ishra are already together. I was apprehensive if anyone will be interested or not. But first Aarohi and then Anji di asked about custody. Am glad people still remember it and like it this much.
The essence of story will not change. Ishra are comfortable here but still they have not voiced out their feelings. And adi and shagun still live with ashok. No Suraj. There can be 1 or 2 more parts to it before I finally end it. That too will be quick one maybe within january only. I'll try me best. And yess...am not sure how many are interested so no pms please. Forceful replies are not what I want. Those who really want to read and actually like it will comment for sure and thats what I want. If you dont find it worthy of replying...I dont mind. Am updating this for those who really wanted to read it.

The court proceedings start with the judge arriving and everybody standing in respect. Neel hands over some papers to the judge. Ashok is also there with Shagun and Adi. Sir...Neel starts with his point. As we already know this case is for custody of Aditya Bhalla...whose parents Raman and Shagun got divorced six years ago. Raman Bhalla is already married to a reputed doctor Ishita Bhalla and they are living a happy family life along with their daughter Ruhi whose custody you herself granted them. Mam...all the reason for this case which my client has done is this only.
He wants his son to be in a family atmosphere just like Ruhi is living. Shagun Arora lives with her boyfriend Ashok khanna. She doesnt have time for her son. And Ashok clearly doesnt consider him his son. So..cant it be possible that Adi can start living with bhallas.
I object my Lord. The other lawyer cut him. I want to tell the court that this is not first time that case of Aditya custody has come to court. It had been there six years ago when his parents divorced. And mind it...pls note judge sahib. It was same court who granted custody of same child to Shagun and Ashok because Raman was an abusive father. And he is even today. He has no control over his anger. And when drunk, he is out of control. No one can handle him. I would like to present the court these proofs which were shown back then also...Raman is not a good father. The proofs were handed to the judge.
To say the same, I would like to call Ruhi Bhalla in the witness box. Neel announced shockinv everyone. Ruhi...shagun murmured. She is not here. And what will she do. Raman smirked at her as Romi entered the courtroom with Ruhi in tow. The little girl had eyes only for her Ishima who assured her that everything will be fine..just go and say truth to watever you are asked. It didnt go unnoticed by the judge too. She nodded and went to the witness box.
Dont worry Ruhi...Neel assured her as soon as she entered the box. Its for your Adi bhayiya beta. Just tell the Judge Aunty watever is the truth. Will you? She nodded her head and everybody smiled. But Ashok and Shagun got a big shock. That was not something they or their lawyer were actually prepared for. They had thought Ishita would never want her daughter to reach the courtsteps at any cost. Bu here she was, going to be a witness against them.
Adi didnt know how to react. Wasnt he being made the puppet here. Who remembers first six years of his life...ofcourse no one can. And the six which he remembers are hr leaving with his mother, his father snatching him back, then custody case where he was supposed to lie...though he always knew his dad hit him beacuse he was at fault. All he wanted at that time was his mom. Then he was sent to a boarding by his new dad. He never shared with anyone..but he had thoight at that time...had his own father been there, he would not have been sent to boarding. Then he was again called back. Why the hell they people dont want him to adjust to one environment. He returned only for his hatred for his father to grow manyfolds. He had married and he hated him for it. How can someone take his mom place in his life. But now when he sees that lady...his sister's ishima...he wonders if the vice versa is also not the fact. His dad got a woman now but his mom already has a man since six years. He wants to live happily in his family with shagun mom and ashok dad. But they never have time for me. Do they really care for me. He remembers how he ran into their room one night as he was afraid of darkness but all he got was scolding..not to disturb. Is that lawyer saying right. Are they not good for me. Flashbacks of ashok shagun and ishra with ruhi came to his mind and he felt like his head would burst out any moment due to this tension. Hell...he doesnt know...who is right..who is wrong. Who is friend and who is enemy. And he doesnt want to know. All he wants right now is to go to some lonely place and cry his heart out. But he cant do that. Because big boys dont cry..he had been taught in hostel. Maybe he could be back to the hostel. He realized. He can be happy there.
So Ruhi..how are you living right now with your mama and papa. The voice of Neel brought him out of his thoughts. He had to concentrate on the proceedings but was it actually possible for him to return to boarding. He decided to get answer to this question later.
Ruhi looked at Neel confused. I mean are you happy beta..since court has granted your custody to your parents, are you happy with them. Very happy...there was a shine in her eyes saying these words. Ishima and papa love me so much. She extended her arms as far as possible just to tell them the extent of love she gets from them. Now papa never scolds me. He helps me with my homework and tells me a story every night. We go to family outings every weekend. Ishima ne aake sab kuch theek kr diya. Luv u Ishima. She passed a flying kiss to her mother who was quick to grab it. Point to be noted my Lord. This is what we call parenting. As for buying gifts or expensive games, I dont think court needs a proof to show Raman Bhalla can afford it. But a child needs more than money. And my client wants the claim of his son on same basis.
Other lawyer got up this time. The same daughter your honour...whom her father tried to kill in the womb itself.
It has already been clear in media by Ruhi herself...Raman was not at fault. Neel retorted.
My papa is the best papa. Ruhi screamed in between making everyone shift their gaze to her. He is my favourite person and he is the best. He even takes me for dinner outside when he is tired because of work. Papa loves Ruhi and Ruhi loves papa.
Yess...papa loves Ruhi a lot. Now you may go beta. Bidding goodbye to her parents, she left with her chachu to relish her favourite ice cream.
Your Honour...I know its not good to bring kids here. But Ruhi was brought just to show that my client Raman Bhalla deserves to be with his son unlike these people who just want him for their ego. Neel announced.
After thinking for some time, the judge announced.
Mr. Raman Bhalla...the grounds on which you want the Custody of your son..its acceptable. But everyone doesn't treat their children the same way. Atleast they are not disturbing him. I have to think from kid's point of view too. Its not easy to shift time and again..one day here other day there. It also has effect on child's growth. Thinking about these points, I consider you are diverting your son's mind. In your fight..you are forgetting about him. As of now, I think he needs a stable environment and I want him to...
Your honour...Ishita stood up and cut her short. Sorry to interrupt but I want to say something before you announce your decision.
Okk Ishita..come in witness box. Raman held her hand tightly wondering what she was upto. His eyes teary..she kept her other hand on his. I promise Raman..this time we cant loose to them. You will be with Adi. He nodded his head and she left for WB after final assurance.
Watever you said Mam is correct. Every child needs a stable environment. And by re opening this case, he is the most affected among all. But I want to ask the court. Her mother already doesn't have time for him. She mentioned she is getting married. Then how can you be sure she wont ignore him. For those kids who have no choice but to live with such high society type parents..its acceptable but when he has a father who is saying he is ready to give everything...then whats wrong.
All looked at her shocked while she continued. I beg you my lord...just once..let him come to our home. Just let him see what he is missing in life. Let him see what his father has to give him. Okk..we dont ask for permanent custody but atleast few days. Let him see what a home is.
Let him play with his sister.
Let him see the love of dadu and dadi.
Let him watch late night movies with dadu and bhua.
Let him listen to stories from his father.
She had tears in her eyes...A kid needs everything. And Adi is missing though he has so much. So many people love him.
This is all rubbish. Shagun stood up. Its already decided. Your honour..pls dont come in her words. All she wants is to snatch my son from me. Adi is happy with us. They are just troubling me and my son.
I want to talk to Aditya Bhalla for this. The judge announced. Everyone nodded while Ishita went back and Adi entered the witness box. You just have to say that you want to live with mama. Nothing else beta. You will always be with me. Shagun assured him and he nodded his head.
Beta...you are mature enough. And you heard watever your both set of parents want from you. The judge asked him politely. He nodded and lowered his head. No one will force you Adi. Just tell me...do you really want to go with your Raman papa at his place for few days?
Everyone looked at him with expected faces...wondering what was going on in his mind. Raman entwined his hands with Ishita...say yess Adi plss...give a chance to your papa. Ishita bit her nail in nervousness.
Speak up beta...judge said after a long silence as the child shifted his gaze from one parent to other. I promise no one will force you.
All waited enthusiastically. Adi closed his eyes as faces of Shagun, Ashok, Raman, Ishita and then chirpy Ruhi came to his mind. Slowly, he opened his eyes and the words he utterred were a severe shock to every individual present there. None could help but cry at the state of a 12 year old kid.
Mam...Can you please send me back to my boarding school?
The innocent eyes had asked.
