I think Shagun's entry into Bhalla house is only to reveal Mihir's true relation...Maybe Ishita will get a chance to go thru her belongings...purse or a locket or something she holds dear to her bearing a picture of a younger Shagun and Mihir ??? ..In her drunk state, she might blabber that he is her brother ..and that he and her mom ditched her when she ditched Raman???? ...she might also reveal her mom's name or something ..
Otherwise seems totally random filler to bring a drunk shagun home!! ..and obviously CVs don't want to get hit with rotten tomatoes so they won't make her a permanent member of the Bhalla household! ..
so I think her entry is only to bring out Mihir's truth! ..
