Now this would be the PERFECT way to handle the track! Seriously it would be one of the more mature ways to deal with the situation! Well done! 👏 I think the highlight of the whole part of the story was the end what Ishita said to Shagun! It was perfect and completely in sync with her personality! 👍🏼

Thank you so much for the wonderful comments. I hope you will enjoy reading this next part as well.
Raman parked his car and stared out looking at the children playing football in the small playground around the corner. A small smile crept up at the sight of them laughing and rejoicing a goal that one of them had scored. How innocent and happy they looked, unaware of the complexities of life and relationships that crept into adulthood, he thought. As he stepped out his car and headed towards home, he saw Shagun come down the stairs at the same time. The two of them looked at each other and without saying a word, went their opposite ways. As Raman entered his house, he noticed Ishita sitting at the dining table, a glass of water in her hand, lost in thought. As if realizing that someone was looking at her, Ishita turned her gaze towards Raman and immediately sprang to her feet. "Raman..." Ishita started but he ignored her and went straight to their room. He closed the door shut before Ishita could get to him and barely glanced at her when he came out again. "Raman, I need to talk to you," Ishita started but stopped when Raman raised his finger indicative of the fact that he didn't want to hear another word. Just as Raman was about to say something, his phone rang, "Yes Mihir, I'll be there right away. Make sure everything is ready by the time I get there and don't act smart and try and take decisions by yourself. I already have enough people around me doing that." Ishita watched as Raman walked out of the house knowing that what he had said last was pointed towards her. She will have to make things right somehow. With that thought, Ishita got ready to head to the clinic.
At the clinic...
"Ishita mam, there's someone here to see you. He doesn't have an appointment though. Should I let him in?" Sarika asked through the intercom. "Who is it Sarika?" " He said his name is Mihir" came the reply. "Mihir, but what is he doing here?" Ishita thought to herself and after a moment asked Sarika to let him in. "Mihir, what are you doing here? Is everything okay?" Ishita asked concerned. "Yes bhabhi, everything is fine... with me... but what is going on between you and Raman... I know, it's probably not my place to interfere in your personal matters but Raman came over to my place last night, and although he did not say anything, I could tell that he was disturbed and sad, and maybe even angry. I don't know how to describe it but it has been a long time since I have seen him like that. Please bhabhi, tell me, maybe I can help. I can't see Raman bhai like this," pleaded Mihir. Ishita took a deep breath and narrated last night's events to Mihir. Once Ishita was done, Mihir asked, "But why did you have to take her back to your place, you could have brought her to my place..." Ishita looked up surprised. "To your place? But why would I bring her there?" Ishita asked. "That's because... because any other place would have been a better option than yours. Bhabhi, I understand your intentions, but there is a lot of bitterness between Shagun and Raman. It is a different matter seeing her outside at parties and other places, but seeing her in his own house and his bedroom, one that he shared with her for 6 years, is not the same. He may have moved on but he has not forgotten," Mihir explained. After a moments silence, Ishita looked at Mihir and asked "Does he still love her?" "No, he doesn't. That I am absolutely sure of. He stopped loving her a long time ago and please do not ever think otherwise," Mihir said confidently. Ishita silently nodded her head. Just then Sarika came in to inform Ishita that her next patient had arrived. "Bhabhi, you need to talk to Raman, he needs you now more than ever," saying that Mihir left. "I'm trying, Mihir. I'm trying," Ishita whispered to an empty room.
At home that night...
"Ma, Ishita isn't back yet?" Raman asked during dinner. "No Raman, she has gone to Vandita's house. Apparently, Ruhi and Shravan need to finish a group project, so she took her there," Toshiji replied.
At Vandu's house
Vandita was busy attending to Shravan and Ruhi while Bala and Ishita were standing at the balcony staring into the darkness of the night. Ishita had related what had happened the past couple of days to Bala and he stood silently sipping a cup of hot tea pondering over what Ishita had just told him. After a while he turned to Ishita and asked, "Ishita, where do you see yourself in this relationship?" "Jiju?" Ishita asked confused. "It's a simple question, Ishu. Where do you see yourself in this relationship?" Bala repeated. "I... I'm Ruhi's Ishima, and a daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and...and I'm also Raman's wife," Ishita replied hesitantly. "Ishu, why is it that you stated that you are Raman's wife last as if it's the last thing on your priority list? I mean you do realize that you have to be Raman's wife first before you are a daughter-in-law, sister-in-law or even Ruhi's Ishima," Bala stated. "Yes, jiju, I understand that but our relationship, it's not like any other normal couple, we are bound for the love of Ruhi..." "Ishu, I understand that your relationship with Raman is different, but it doesn't make you any less his wife. Raman has bitter memories where Shagun is concerned and you and I both know that he tolerates Shagun only for Adi. How do you think he would have felt seeing her back in his house, in his bedroom?" Bala asked. "But jiju, I couldn't just leave her out there alone and drunk." "No one's asking you to leave her alone, Ishu but you should have thought things through a little more, at least called Raman and informed him about the situation," Vandu intervened. "And even if you had to bring her there, you shouldn't have brought her to your bedroom, it was disrespectful not just to Raman, but to your marriage irrespective of what the current status of your relationship is," Vandu continued. "Vandu is right Ishita, think about it and you will realize that although your intentions were noble and you did the right thing by helping her, there are other ways you could have gone about it," Bala told Ishita.
