Ishu being Ishu, will help whoever it maybe. Its her second nature. We had accepted her as she is.
Neither she is mahaan nor she is stupid to bring a drunkard homeless (I assume) Shagun to her house. She is caring, and doing this out of humanity which at times Raman does. We accepted that with half heart, isn't it. Did we call Raman mahaan that time. I dont think so as far as I remember.
So when the female lead does the same, dont understand why we tag them as 'mahaan'?
Atleast EK's Ishita hasnt reached that stage of doing mahaanta till so far IMO.



BUT TBH what I couldnt and can never take is Shagun on IshRa's bed. The minute I saw Shagun there , this is what I uttered immediately "abhaccharam" (impure).
Weren't there other options available ?
I want a reason for only this act of Ishu or the CVs for that matter.

Thanks fir the post Oishi. No need of bashing Ishita but brunging Shagun to the bedroom is a bit too much. CVs are going to regret this over the top melodrama. Where Raman's character grates at times because of his insensitivity, the CVs have us lash out at Ishita for her misplaced Mahanta! Toshiji was so right in her gyaan that all these gestures good look in books!!! Real life is different! Still cant understand why Shagun couldnt be parked at the Iyer's and had to be given a space in Raman's bed. Kya drama create karne ke liye kuch bhi dekha dete hain

I agree with you. I have no issues with Ishita bringing Shagun home for the night...women should look out for each other, and it's the most human thing to do. Let her sleep it off and then bid her adieu in the morning...she can take care of herself then...I'd be more concerned if Ishu left Shagun by herself...that would've been out of character and just plain cold!

What I cannot get behind is her bringing Parmeetey home...no matter how these writers try to sell it I ain't buying that shit! It doesn't make sense and it isn't smart.

I see your point. ishita taking shagun to bhalla house is absolutely within ishita's character as we know it;, getting her in ishra bedroom is a completely separate point n a mistake!
