There are 2 things that struck me the most (and not in a nice way), I am not sure if anyone discussed in any posts.
- Ishita actually took the rakhi from Mihir's place??? She opened the drawers in excitement n all, but then taking the rakhi from him house, taking something so personal that he is obviously trying to avoid from his house without his permission? Is this the morally righteous Ishita I know?
- I saw a lot of posts about Ishita txting Param etc. But I did not want to comment till I saw the episode. Even the video I saw didn't have the precap in it. But the thing that pricked me was that Mr. Bhalla had asked everyone to stay put till the night. He said they would talk about what to do with Param with a clear head in the morning. It was a very sensible thing to say, since the collective temperature in the Bhalla household resembled a Tandoor. In spite of his directive to stay put, Ishita went ahead and txted Param? This is definitely not the Ishita I know.
In both the above examples, there is no doubt that Ishita has a golden heart. But it was shown earlier that she had a sound mind. At some point, someone has to sit down and think if having good intention overrides the actions we take to meet the said intentions.
There is no point in debating the social message they are sending (no matter what the reason) of a victim going out of the way to meet her molester. I have realised that I have to take some things with a pinch of salt when I am watching stuff on TV. So I will chill and take each episode as it comes. The pinch of salt however is getting bigger
