Raman was taken aback by the sudden gesture. He didn't knew Ishita will be touched by what he did or said to his parents. Instead, he thought she would be angry at him because he didn't talked to her at first and said these to his parents but he was very much happy to know that she knew his fears and was not angry or disturbed herself. After thinking a while he tilted his heads a little bit to keep his head on top of Ishita's and said
There is no need to thanks, I am your daughter's father and it's my responsibility to look after her mother.
Saying that he recieved a playful punch on his chest from Ishita and he smiled a bit
Ishita : I am really sorry, I didn't mean any of the words I spoke, I don't know how all those just came from my mouth I couldn't even understand what I was speaking and ...
Raman : You didn't mean anything [teasing her]
Ishita : [Innocently] Not even a single word I spoke that day
Raman : That means I am not only Ruhi's father ?? Am I more than that [with a killer smirk on his face and evil smile by having JKR roungue tied]
Ishita blushed and moved from him and walked towards the wardrobe
Ishita : your tea, have it before it's cold let me change and come
Raman : nodding his head. Where is ruhi ?
Ishita : At Amma's place, she will be sleepin with Mihika as Shravu has come. I will be going there in a while to check her
Raman : Ok.
Ishita changed and went to Amma's place and before she came Raman finished his work. As soon as he shut his laptop he saw Ishita entering the room
Ishita : I made Ruhi sleep there. Don't you worry.
Raman smiled and asked her to wake him up if she has any emergencies and this time no more excuses, Ishita agreed with a smile and assured him she will definitely wake him up.
Raman was relaxed and they both laid at their respective places both Raman and Ishita weren't able to sleep. Ishita was thinking about how much Raman cares for her and even if it was care or he too has started to develop feelings for her which she has for him, while on the other hand Raman was still not assure of Ishita's safety, he was feeling Ishita was too far from him what if she doesn't wake him up and goes to the clinic afterall, she is JKR and she has taken oath to not listen to Raman ever. And even if she doesn't go to clinic then what if she goes out to take water at night and Param misbehaves with her. He wasn't able to think starightly and even he knew Param won't do anything with whole house full of members but still Raman's fear knew no bounds so he spoke up
Raman : Ishita ?? you awake ?
Ishita who sensed fear and restlessness in raman's voice spoke up without wasting a second : Hmmm . . Are you Okay ?
Raman : Ye.. yeah.. just..I..woh..why don't...
Ishita woke up and looked at him as soon as she woked up Raman swicthed on the lights and looked at her hoping that she would understand what he wanted.
Ishita : Yes Raman. . Kya huaa?? Y are you so tensed?Do you want to say something
Raman : Yes
Ishita : What ??
Raman : I was just thinking that why don't I mean why can't I mean Why don't you
Ishita walked towards him and sat in the bed and asked him what's bothering him so much he can say her, she won't make fun or chide him away
Raman taking up all courage spoke up : I don't trust you
Ishita was shocked !! She didn't knew where this came from all of a sudden and mostly she didn't knew why it came up all of a sudden and replied with an unbelievable huh?
Raman : I mean I don't trust you that you will wake me up if you go to clinic at night
Ishita couldn't help but admire his loving nature, his care which was only for her and she didn't she him worried like this ever even for his sister or anyother person which just made her heart do a bhangra and she blushed but then shook her head and said
Raman, I assure you chalo Ruhi promise I will wake you up if I go to the clinic at night
Raman : See, that's the point you will wake me up only if you go to clinic but what if you go soemwhereout of the room at night, then you won't be waking me up
Ishita : Now, where am I suppose to go at night out of this room ?
[Ishita wasn't really enjoying Ramans's unbelievable questions, she understood his fears but this out of the world questions were surprising her but somewhere in her subconcious mind she was happy to know Raman is so thoughtfull for her and that he is having a almost sleepless night just for HER and the thought itself passed butterflies on her stomach]
Raman : To bring water or to use wahsroom
Ishita : Now you want me to wake you up for these silly reasons too. Are you sure you don't want to wake up tomorrow for office on time. Saying so she was about to move from the bed knowing these were silly talks and she knew Raman needs sleep as he has been tired now, but Raman held her hands and said
Sleep with me
Ishita was surprised she now knew what he wanted to say but couldn't say it simply being the egoistic man he is and chose her way of saying little things in lenghthiest form that is LECTURES and she chuckled but decided that Raman strictly needed Rest after this physical and emotional stress since quite a few days now, he has been through many things and thought to give him a break to make him embarass and for the sake of Raman she let go of this golden chance and said
It's Okay Raman, Don't worry I won't go out of the room at any cost. You can sleep peacefully, I am right here [pointing towards the couch] in front of you
Raman wasn't convinced he knew he couldn't sleep like this, Ruhi being in their room made her sleep beside him and he would sleep peacefully but today he can't let her be so far so he said
I said I don't trust you
Ishita knew she can't win from this man so she went to the couch brought her pillow and slipped next to Raman facing him and giving him an assuring smile.
Raman looked at her and holded her hands tightly yet firmly and closed his eyes, Ishita too smiled and closed her eyes.
After few mins...
Raman : Ishita ??
Ishita : [sleepy] hmmm
Raman thought she was sleepy and it isn't right to wake her up because he was restless so he went and stood near the window.
Here, Ishita was waiting for him to speak up but when nothing came she opened her eyes only to see Raman near the window, she knew he was too much tensed about her, now even her happiness by seeing Raman's care was vanishing she too was now getting worried seeing Raman's condition. She walked up to him and held his hands entwining his fingers with her's.
Raman stood there, he was still looking outside
Raman : Ishita I am scared
Ishita : I know, But I assure you nothing will happen me Raman. I promise I won't go anywhere near to him
Raman : But what if
Ishita : I will be more than carefull and make sure that even he can't come near to me even if he wants. I will do everything Papa jee wanted me to do and asked you to convice me for the same.
Raman looked at her she continued
If you want Romi or you can drop me to the clinic and I will come to your office after my works get over and we can come home together [and gave him a smile]
Raman : No, I will pick you from the clinic too
Ishita : Okay baba, now are you relaxed
Raman : [Nodded assuringly] But one more thing, if anytime that Man calls you texts you or get anywhere near to you, you are going to inform me that's it and if I come to know you had hidden it from me I will stop talking to you all my life
Ishita assured him that she will do all the needful and he need not to worry now.
Raman was really relaxed now after getting words from IShita he knew now she will be safe and he assured himself to never ever let ishita feel as if she is in bars. He will take her everywhere she wants and never ever let her feel that she was bothering him.
He then looked towards Ishita, she was shining in the moonlight and after his mind took a rest from all the pervy tention he actually realised how much he missed her in these days, their nok jhoks, their fights, their quick glances. He also knows that this woman was the reason for his breathing, she was his oxygen now and by now he also knew that the feelings were kidnof mutual.
As she was about to leave and was going to detangle their fingers she felt it get tightened and she looked up at Raman whose eyes were now not having any kind of fear or tention but only Love and that also for her. She couldn't meet his gaze and lowered her eyes and blushed profousely when he hugged her tight
Raman : I can't live without you
Ishita : Even me Ravaan Kumar
Saying so she hugged him more tight even if it was possible
After few minutes they moved from each other. Raman cupped her face and gave her a kiss on her cheek and said he
Hope you don't forget whatever you promised me. No raat Gayi Baat gayi sort of games with me [smiling genuinely]
Ishita : I won't forget even a single thing that happened this night and will make sure that even you can't deny it after the night is over [with a wink] while Raman blushed for a change.
Both were happy inside that they actually said each other what they meant for each other. They knew only saying those three magical words will not justify their feelings. They were more sure about what the other felt for them and would make sure that this relationship will grow more and it will turn into an unbreakable bond even if they don't confess literally. They made sure to move on RUHI KE LIYE now forever and become EK DUSRE KE LIYE. Maybe their FEELING f LOVE is UNSPOKEN but now they know that it's nothing but Love what the other feels and they will progress as each other's Humsafar from today onwards by not waiting for the moment when those I LOVE YOU will be spoken. They knew their hearts has already conveyed that part to each other and their eyes has delievred the message. So, from today it was their new start.
They went hand in hand towards their bed and slept in each other's arms wishing each other goodnight while Raman gave a light peck on her forehead.
