That was indeed a sleepless night for both of them. Raman was with Adhi in his room & remembering his encounters with Ishitha and was also struggling to accept that he is falling in love again. He didn't want to be in a vulnerable state that he was six years back when Shagun left him. He knew Ishitha was different from Shagun but he was really not able to take it that he can fall for a woman again. The passion and desire he was getting converted to disgust and anger towards himself. He was constantly thinking how he could let this happen to him.

On the other side Ishitha sitting the bed with Ruhi sleeping next to her was full of tears. Her constant thoughts were related to her inferiority complex. She was remembering the number of times Subbu turned her down when she wanted to intimate with him. She remembered how much she used to feel not loved by him. She remembers how much terrible she used to feel when he used to make love to her just to vent his hormonal erosions. She also remembers the rejections that she faced during her wedding proposals. She remembers one guy with cleft lip denying marrying her. She thinks of the day when she expressed her concerns about Subbu's behavior and father abruptly cutting her cross saying you will deserve guys like this only, do you think you are a miss universe and get guys of your choice. She is having tearing continuously rolling down her eyes. She thinks to herself that when a guy who is a normal person not so handsome, not so well to do could not love me. When my own parents never found me worthy to have a loving husband, how will a guy like Raman love me? How can I even imagine of having that loveable relationship with Raman. He is after all a handsome and a very successful man. He will definitely want a stunning lady in his life. She introspect her heart which is failing to drift away from Raman. His goodness, love, care, trust and friendly nature is what she is able to think about. She convinces herself "I am not destined to get love in my life, but I can love him. I will love him, unconditionally. Will not expect anything from him not even love in return. I will ensure every happiness in his life"

On the other side Raman decides to be away from Ishitha. He can never let his ego down for his manly desires. He will have cold showers but not accept his feeling for Ishitha. He thought she is a nice lady, she might accept also but I cannot let another women conquer my heart and make me weak like before.

Simmi recovered completely and went back to her house. Raman and Ishitha continued their sleeping schedules even after Simmi left. Next week Mrs Bhalla and Mr Bhalla had gone down to visit their family deity in the village to thank for Simmi's recovery. Raman came down to the breakfast table expecting some desi Madrasi khana and decided to taunt her. He figured out this as a way from being away from Ishitha. To his surprise she had made his favorite gobi ke paratha for breakfast and pullav and Panner subji for noon. The kids and his siblings were very excited and appreciated her cooking skills. After all of them left Ishitha served him as well. The food was so tasty that he could really comment on anything. She had taken all the care to ensure that it is as per his taste. He couldn't help himself from complimenting her

R: Ishitha the food is indeed very good. Whom did you learn from mummyji?

I: Actually Raman, Subbu never liked south Indian food because he was brought up completely in north. I learnt it for him during my initial days of our marriage. Even Adhi is of similar taste. After coming to this house I learnt the authentic Punjabi way of doing these from Mummyji.

Her unwarranted mention of Subbu irritated him. He just stood up halfway and left without saying anything. Ishitha was puzzled by his sudden indifference. Next two days was full of traditional Punjabi cooking as she was full time at home. She was to join her master next week and she had just then completed her notice period with the company she had been working. She also waited for him in the night and both had dinner togather. She was also ensuring all his things were in place, selecting cloths etc. Though all this was annoying him as these were making them to spend longer duration of time with each other. Yet his inner self wanted this proximity of her. So his heart won over his mind and didn't taunt her for doing all this.

The elder Bhalla's are back, Rinky had been working on a designer saree for her final project work. She wanted to design in for a traditional beauty and decided to do it for her Bhabi whom she felt is a natural beauty. When Rinky annoced this all were seconding Rinky's thoughts while Raman decided to do something else

R: Tumhara dinag karab hai kya. Andhi ho gaye ho. Tumhare Bhabi aur beauty? Kya Rinky, bhenji tumhi beatu kab se lagmne lagi.( Are you Mad ? Or have you gone blind. Do you think your bhabhi is beautiful? From when is Bhenji started looking beautiful to you?)

Ri: Bhai , please stay out of it

R: Ok , then don't compliant if you lose marks in your final project because of ishitha

Ri: Bhai , please you always get to the limits

What sounded like a funny conversation between Raman and Rinky was piercing Ishitha's heart. She was visibly hurt. Rinky noticed it and cheered her Bhabi up. Raman is out on business trip to Mumbai. Rinky takes Ishitha to SPA and gets a makeover done. It is the day of her final project submission to her college. They will have a ramp walk with the dress designed. Rinky encourages Ishitha and she does the Ramp walk with the saree designed by Rinky. Rinky is all applauded for her work. She feels delighted and thanks her bhabi by kissing her. Raman is returning the same day evening. Raman had called Ishitha in the noon.

R: hi Ishitha, would be back by evening. I have an important campaign launch party tonight. We need to attend it as a family. I will reach the venue directly. Mihir knows the details, he will bring you all. Get Ruhi and Adhi as well. I know my Adhi and ruhi will look good and will not disappoint me, you please don't embarrass me in front of everyone. Wear something decent enough which will make you look like a CEO's wife and not a cheap Madrasan. If need be take help from Rinky and shop something good. DO some makeover if possible. Call Mihir to know the time and other details.

I: Raman will be there don't worry; I will try my level best not to embarrass you. But if you really wanted a beautiful wife to accompany you, you might as well not got married to me. Iam the way Iam. I don't have to change for anyone. But Will for sure take care your respect is retained tonight. Saying so she slams the phone.

Ishitha had been having the mobile on the speaker mode and Mrs Iyer and Mrs Bhalla were listening to all the conversation between them. They see Ishitha hurt and crying. She leaves the place to spend some time alone in the room. The elders send Rinky to cheer her up. Rinky had designed a blouse as well for her project which Ishitha refused to wear as the blouse was sleeveless and the straps holding the sleeves were very thin and Rinky managed someone else. Rinky comes and gives her that blouse and asks her to wear it for the party tonight and assures that she will give her ideas to dress her up for tonight. Raman was missing her badly for past 2 days and wanted to vent out his frustration by tunting her. He was for sure of the opinion Ishitha was beautiful inside out.

Its evening 7 Pm. Ishitha had got Ruhi and Adhi ready by 6.30 Pm and was getting ready. When she came out of the room all dressed everyone at home was dumbstruck. She was wearing a black net saree the pleats area white in colour, with a sleeveless blouse with her pallu flowing off. The low neck at the back was giving a gracious view of her milky white back as she had put her long hair into a bun. She was wearing her wedding chain ( Magaal Sutra) along with a diamond jewelry. The earrings were hanging making her face look prettier. She also wore a slender bracelet.

Mrs Bhalla: Oye puttar, deka tune tub hi fashion vasion kiya kar. Kitne sundar lag rahi hai

All the siblings of Raman were gaga goo over their Bhabhi's looks. She was feeling shy by their comments. Ruhi and Adhi hug her saying she is the best. They leave with Mihir and Mihika to the party.

Raman had already reached and had a room allocated in the hotel. He freshens up and dressed up for the party. He was wearing a black and white tuxedo. He was looking very handsome as usual and was standing out very distinct in the party. He was eagerly waiting to meet his kids and most importantly his lady love. Ishitha and the kids arrive. Raman is awestruck with sensual version of Ishitha. He couldn't have ever imagined Ishitha in this form. He mentally smacked himself for taunting her when he called earlier in the day. He felt that he had stimulated her to dress up like this to kill him. Now he was not able to control his raging hormones. Her lips were like strawberry and he really wanted to stuck those luscious lips, he wanted to get drowned in her big eyes of her which sounded like fishes swimming in the lake.. When Ishitha finally reached near him, the kids greeted him and had a warm exchange of words. Then Raman asked Mihir to take the kids to join the remaining kids in the party. Ishitha wholeheartedly complements Raman for his looks while Raman is not having words to describe her beauty. Meantime other guests keep coming and he introduces Ishitha as his wife. The men were complimenting Ishitha for her beauty and Raman was feeling uncomfortable. He notices few men eying Ishitha and luring her beauty. He feels jealous and literally wants to kill those men. When he himself has never claimed his wife's striking beauty, he wanted the other men to stay away from her. When is fully engrossed in the trance of his wife's sexy looks, the most unexpected happens. Shagun enters the party with Ashok

Ashok's company has also bid for the campaign. The dinner was for all the bidders and Raman's company was the host for the dinner. Shagun sees Raman with Ishitha she was aware that Raman is married now. She in her own egoistic nature felt Raman can never ever love anyone else more than her. She wanted to prove that to Ishitha today. She was not aware of the real truth of Raman and Ishitha's relationship and yet was confident that she will win. Raman and Ishitha got separated meeting different set of people. One gentlemen request Ishitha's hand for a dance on the dance floor. Ishitha thinks Raman might feel bad if she refuses. She agrees and moves to the dance floor.

Raman looks at the dance floor to look at who is there. He is astonished to see Ishitha with a man. The man's hands on her waist and back irritate him to limits. He is unable to digest another man's hand on his wife. His anger is to the limit of horizons. He quickly moves to the stage and hence the dance is stopped. Ishitha is back to the position with Mihika. Raman feels relived. He announces the launch of the campaign and briefs a bit about the project. He thanks all the people who are present for the bidding. He dedicates the campaign to Ishitha and thanks her for everything she has done for him. Ishitha smiles and teary eyed. Raman gives smile to Ishitha and gets sown the stage.

Shagun is unable to take Ishitha's appreciation from Raman and goes in front of him. He is put off by seeing her and marches directly to the drinks area. Shagun goes to Ishitha, post that. Ishitha had seen the change in the facial expression in Raman's face the moment he saw her. Shagun was indeed a sexy, sensuous stunning beauty. Mihir had by then told her that she was shagun. Ishitha becomes nervous seeing Shagun marching towards her.

Shagun taunts her after coming near her and assures that aman is still in love with her only to hurt Ishitha. She is able to see Ishitha visibly hurt. She challenges Ishitha that she will prove her effect on Raman by dancing with him tonight. Ishitha is very hurt, she still strongly believes herself that Raman loves Shagun only. Her inferiority complex takes over and she feels really insecure and terrible. She feels she will not have the courage to see Raman dancing with Shagun. She looks on as Shagun marched towards Raman, tears welling up in her eyes.

Part 13: First Kiss

Raman & Ishitha are dancing burning the whole dance floor. He tries to touch her in all vulnerable places in the dim light of the dance floor. His lips gracing multiple places of her body and finally he rams his lips on her and kisses her passionately.
