so... the first thing that came to my mind was a scene from some movie (i am horrible at remembering scenes and dialogues) where a pregnant woman has cravings for ice-cream in the middle of the night, and her husband drives her out. I remember that they also dont have a 'normal' relationship or they are in the middle of a fight...

Is it? I cant recall a similar scene if there was one in the movie, am horrible at those too sometimes and I think I watched this movies only once, ages ago and wasnt much sold to it

then my fickle mind started wandering and imagined a scenario... what if Ishita were pregnant and Raman would have to cater to all her whims and fancies 24*7... By God it would be a treat to see Raavan Kumar humbled.

Oh that would be a delight but then again lets see if it happens at all, first off they have a long way to even get there, they are hardly accepting things and I still think Raman needs some kind of a shock to make him stop running and hiding from his emotions or playing with hers like he did with this second confession. He has to admit he cant lie to himself anymore when it comes to her cos right now he is being pretty catatonic

Wonderfully written Aani... Ishita's state of mind is such a mystery, and reading your story gives us clarity. You make Ishita seem a normal person who actually thinks about her broken heart and past. The line about Ruhi being her saviour when it was in fact Ishita who saved Ruhi... that line brought a smile to my face... I liked it very much. such a deep and meaningful thought. and so typical of Ishita to think like that!!!

I find it to be an impossibility that one would not think about things gone by, as much as we should and like to live in the present we are always pulled with the lure of the future and stuck in the failings of our past... and things are never perfect, not completely and Ishita - the thing about her that is in equal parts fascinating and frustrating to me is she is a blank page mostly, so we can fill her anyway we like... I hope to god at some point the show also revolves around her for a change. The one scene we had recently where she mentions Subu was so sad and poignant to her story as per me, how even six months post the breakup she was still unable to let go of all those things he gave to her and I would love to see more of that phase of her life, the Before Raman phase - with or without Subu... also Ruhi is a savior for her in so many ways - like Ishu herself said she gave her a reason to live, love and smile again 😳

and Aani... every other story you make Ishita taunt Raman's height or age 😡 as mad as I get when you make fun of Raman, I do like the realistic element it brings. I can really imagine a woman making fun of her man like that 😃

😆 I wanted a banter and well couldn't help myself if he can poke fun of her weight or say she isn't pretty enough why cant she turn the tables and make him feel like a shortie and an old man 😉

And you know how much I love that song too😊. I always thought this one was made for Raman and Ishita. the lead-pair's acting in that song, and the chemistry reminds me so much of these two. especially Raman!

Honestly now this song just makes me remember Raman I cant even see Abhishek let alone remember his nuances in the song 😆

Ok you know I'm being majorly slow with the updating of comments, but I'm getting there.😳

First off this song is an old favourite, and is bang on for these two characters. This OS had evertyhing I love about Raman and Ishita and more. You used the 'kulfi' as great storytelling mechanism. Aani I know I keep saying but if only we got to see this onscreen! exactly how you've written it as well. Beautiful hun 🤗
