How can the CVs make such a blunder? A pregnant woman in the her first trimester playing cricket? No doctor will allow it. Walking and slow exercise like yoga is okay.. but playing cricket?????? My doctor had asked me to take complete rest and then walk and light exercise.. I am wondering how will Vandu do fielding and bowling???????

That's not true. My coach for track and field ran for 12 km every single day until the half of her second trimester. She continued working out and running even after that, until near her delivery date.
It all depends on the person and how active they are. Some women can handle such physical activity while others can't.

Every pregnancy does not require bedrest. If the person has had an active lifestyle before and there are no complications, there is no need to stay in bed or slow down to a crawl
