Part 3
After the picnic trip, everyone returned home feeling refreshed and ready to take upon the usual routine and stressful metro life.
On one such routine morning, ishita as usual cooks breakfast for all and prepares tea while everyone starts their day as usual.
She goes back to her room to check on her husband and daughter. There they are, both hugging each other and still sleeping.
Ishita gets angry and shakes them both saying "ramannn...roo...utho bhi ab! Kitni baar uthana padega!"
Both toss in the bed still sleepy as together they both say the same words "5mins ishima...plz sone do"
She laughs at the same dialog at the same time from the father-daughter duo.
She bends over raman to kiss ruhi whispering in her ear "roo...aapko pata hai tv pe Siddharth malhotra ka song aa raha hai."
She instantly sits up in bed excited and asks "sachi ishima? Mujhe dekhna hai..."
She starts to get down from bed when ishita stops her saying "mera naughty baccha! Ishima pichle ek ghante se utha rahi thi tab nahi uthi...aur sid ka naam sunte hi neend ud gayi!"
Ishita looks at raman who seems to be awake yet not got up from bed yet and murmurs "beti ekdum baap pe gayi hai!"
Raman sits up hearing this as he says "subah subah kyun apna bp badha rahi ho? Aur wo meri nahi tumhari bhi beti hai. Ye sid wala pagalpan tumse hi seekha hoga usne. Meri ruhi ko apni tarah mat banao!"
Ruhi giggles seeing the usual nok jhok between her parents which always assures her that everything is normal between her mother and father.
Ishita looks sternly at ruhi saying "roo...hass kya rahi ho...jao jake brush karo. Main aapke kapde leke aati hu fir aapko nehla dungi. Jao."
"Ok ishima" ruhi runs off to brush her teeth.
Raman sees ishita staring at him with a stern look. He asks casually "kya?"
She replies "aap ye ruhi ke saamne kya keh rahe the? Usko sid acha lagta hai to meri kya galti hai? Sid hai hi itna handsome... aur meri ruhi mere jaisi banegi to burayi kya hai? Kam se kam wo aapki tarah khadoos to nahi hogi"
He taunts back saying "haan lekin tumhari tarah lecturebaaz aur dramebaaz zaroor banegi... ek tum kya kam thi jo ab meri beti ko bhi apne jaise banana chahti ho! aur mai ek zindagi me do do lecture dene wali nahi jhel sakta...mujhe maaf karo!"
Ishita takes a pillow and throws at him while leaving from the room saying "you are disgusting!"
Raman takes the pillow, throws it on the bed while walking behind her screaming "jo bhi hu tumse zyaada to nahi!"
After getting Ruhi ready and sending her off to school with Mr.Bhalla, ishita goes to her room to take out fresh ironed clothes for raman and arranges his office bag.
Romi is sent by mrs.Bhalla to get some vegetables and fruits.
Raman takes bath and as he tries to reach for the towel, he drops it by mistake n it falls on the wet floor.
Getting irritated at that, he shouts for ishita.
She comes to the bathroom door and asks from outside "kya hua raman?aap chilla kyun rahe ho?"
Raman sarcastically replies "wo kya hai na, bathroom me baith kar tumhare naam ki aarti kar raha tha! Bewakoof aurat!"
Ishita makes faces at his dialogs and says "aap seedhe seedhe batayenge ki kya hua ya main jaun yaha se?"
Raman replies "mera towel niche gir gaya yaar...dusra towel laake do...jaldi!"
Ishita went back to get a towel and returned to the bathroom door. "Leke aayi hu...aap sirf haath bahar rakho. ...main towel dedungi."
Raman puts his hand out through the slightly opened door and ishita hands him the towel. As he closes the door and ties the towel, he accidently slips on the soap n falls down screaming.
Ishita gets worried and asks "raman...aap theek to ho na?"
Raman could only manage to cough up "...aah..."
Ishita is worried. He tries to get up but due to sharp pain, he is not able to. Finally he gives up and calls ishita to come inside.
Raman screams "ishita mujhe uthao...meri kamar...aahhh"
Ishita hesitates to go inside remembering her last encounter with raman in the bathroom during their initial marriage days.
But she knew this time he is in pain and she can't leave him like that. So she keep her eyes closed and goes inside to help him.
He looks at her walking towards him with eyes tightly closed. He notices she's about to step on the same soap which caused him to slip. Before he could open his mouth, she slips and falls while she accidentally turns on the shower tap to grip and prevent her fall.
She lands on him as he winces in pain as he already hurt his back. Both are totally wet as the shower water directly falls on them.
They both share an intense eyelock as raman unknowingly puts his arms around ishita as if he's hugging her. The long tresses of hers which were dripping wet due to the shower were brushing over his right cheek.
They broke their eyelock as they heard knocks on the bathroom door and the corncerned voices from the entire family outside the bathroom.
Ishita got up and helped raman to get up and they closed the shower tap.
As they opened the door, the entire family looks on shocked as ishita is all wet while raman is too all wet and is only clad in a towel.
Their shocking faces turn into laughing ones as they misunderstand the whole situation and think that the couple were having some romantic intimate moments.
Romi laughs teasing raman "kya bhai...subah subah bhi aapko ye sab soojta hai?"
Mrs.Bhalla hits romi playfully saying "oye khotte...jab teri shaadi hogi tab tujhe pata chalega. Khair sab chalo apna apna kaam karo." She shoos them all understanding the embarrassed faces of ishita and raman.
Once they go back to their room, raman locks the door from inside and holds his head thinking of the whole embarrassing scene infront of the family.
Ishita too is embarrassed and awkward to even look up at raman and the family.
There's a complete silence between them as they both steal each other's glances yet look away.
Finally ishita moves to the cupbard to take fresh clothes as her saree got wet totally.
She gets mad at raman as all this happened due to him. She shuts the cupboard door and looks at him angrily saying "sab aapki wajah se hua hai. Ab main bahar kaise jaun...kaise nazrein milaun sabse? Kya soch rahe honge humare baare me...cheee!"
Raman gets angry as he walks towards her and says "meri galti? Kisne kaha tha andhi ki tarah bina dekhe chalne ko bathroom me? Aur tum mujhpe giri ho...main tumpe nahi! Ek to meri kamar thod di upar se mujhe blame kar rahi ho!"
"Huh? Aapne help maangi thi isliye main andar aayi thi. Aur aankhen band rakhi kyunki pichle baar ke tarah main nahi chahti thi ki kuch gadbad ho aur aap firse mujhe taane maro! Par aapko to help karna bhi bekaar hai! Pade rehne deti bathroom me tab pata chalta!"
Raman replied angrily "help? Oh please! Galti to meri thi ki maine tumse help mangi! Waise hi meri takleefein kya kam thi jo tum mujhpe giri aur mera dard aur chaar guna badha diya!"
She gets worried "whatever... ab ye socho ki bahar kya muh dikhayenge sabko!"
Raman casually says "sochna kya hai? Ek hi to muh hai tera...wo hi leke jao! Koi crime nahi kiya hai humne jo muh chupana pade. Hum Pati-patni hai. Wo log samajh jayenge."
Ishita is surprised at his casual behaviour and exclaims "cheee! Kitna ganda lagega!"
He says "tum madrasiyon ki choti dimaag hogi... hum punjabiyon ki nahi. hum bade dil wale hai aur saath me open minded bhi. Tum zyada natak mat karo. Jao pehle change karlo warna bimaar padjaogi to mujhe seva karni padegi jo main nahi chahta."
Ishita curses him under her breath as she walks off the room to change her clothes.
Raman smiles shyly to himself remembering the bathroom moment.
Once they both get ready and join the others for breakfast, they notice everyone trying to hide their laugh remembering the bathroom scene.
Ishita and raman look at each other awkwardly.
Romi catches them looking at each other and says "bhai, bhabhi ko ghoorna ab bas bhi karo. Breakfast karna hai ya aapka pet pyaar se hi bhar gaya?"
Raman gives a cold stare at romi when romi silently leaves from there to go office followed by Raman.
Mr.Bhalla too leaves for some work and simmi returns to her room.
As ishita is clearing the table and putting away the dishes, mrs.Bhalla hugs her and blesses her with tears in her eyes saying "aaj main bahut kush hu ishita. 6yrs ke baad raman ki zindagi me khushiyan waapis aayi hai...aur wo khushiyan tumhari wajah se mili hai. Ab mujhe raman ki koi chinta nahi hai kyunki main jaanti hu tum dono humesha ek saath apni har khushi aur har gham jeeyoge. Bas mere bete ka haath kabhi mat chodna...usne kabhi kuch galat kiya bhi to scold him, control him, even slap him if he does anything wrong but please never leave by his side."
Ishita gets teary eyed and takes toshiji's hand in hers saying "mummyji, aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye. Ye mera wada hai aapse ki chahe kuch bhi hojaye...main raman ka saath kabhi nahi chodungi...unki khushi meri khushi hai aur unka har gham mera hai."
Toshiji smiles happily and hugs her. Ishita also hugs her back.
What they both didn't know is that this entire conversation between toshiji and ishita was heard by raman who came back to take a file which he forgot but on hearing toshiji talk to ishita, he stopped at the door entrance and silently overheard the conversation.
Raman's eyes were moist with tears as he realised how lucky he has been to have a selflessly loving mother, a selfless caring wife-his true soulmate and the real angel of his life -his daughter ruhi who brought ishita into his life.
He felt content with his life and thanked God in his heart for giving him a new life filled with happiness and love from his loved ones.
Raman walks into his room silently pretending to have not heard anything as ishita and mrs.Bhalla look on.
Ishita follows him to the room asking "aap gaye nahi kya office?"
Raman wanted to speak to her and thank her for being in his life but his ego stops him to openly emote his feelings.
Hence he masks his feelings with his sarcastic oneliners as he replies her "office to kabka chala gaya. Yahan to mera bhoot khada hai tumhare saamne!"
Ishita is back into her jhansi ki rani mode and gives him back saying "ye bilkul sach kaha aapne! Aapse bada aur bura bhoot koi ho hi nahi sakta."
"Tha to insaan hi...par tum jaisi bhootni se shaadi kiya...to mujhe bhoot bana diya hai tumne!"
Ishita clenches her teeth and curses him in tamil as he says "baad me jee bhar ke curse karna mujhe...pehle meri file dhoond ke do...meeting ke liye late ho raha hu!"
Ishita searches for his file while complaining to him "kabhi koi cheez apne jagah par rakhte ho aap? Sab kuch bikhra pada rehta hai iss kamre me. Roz mujhe hi sambhalna padhta hai. Aap apni cheezein dhang se sambhalke kyun nahi rakhte ho? Fir jab nahi milega to mujhe hi sunaoge! "
She finally finds and hands him over the file. He takes the file from her hands, she turns to leave when he holds her hand. She turns towards him and looks at his hold on hers as she gestures with her eyebrows raised asking him what's he doing.
He smiles genuinely as he tells her "6yrs se khud ko akela hi to sambhaal raha tha ishita! Aur kyun sambhalun main khudko ya meri cheezon ko? Tum jo ho mujhe sambhalne ke liye!"
Ishita smiles as she gets emotional on hearing this. He continues "jaise tum iss bikhre kamre ko theek karti ho... jaise tum mere har cheez sambhalke rakti ho...waise hi tumne meri bikhri hui zindagi ko bhi sambhaala hai... aur jab tak tum mere saath ho, main kyun fikar karun mere cheezon ki?"
Ishita smiles through her tears as he wipes them away gently with his index finger.
She blushes deeply at his confession of his feelings as he looks on.
To change the topic, he comments saying "areh kitna blush karti ho tum? Tumhare saamne to tamatar ka rang bhi pheeka pad jayega! Bechare tamatar pe taras khao yaar!"
Ishita laughed as she hit playfully on his shoulders.
He smiled and left for the office leaving a blushing ishita behind.
