I think, all things considered, this is a very peaceful and democratic forum. I have participated in posts that praise and critique the show.
I have made comments that some times make me wonder if I have multiple personalities 😕 That is the nature of this show. It does evoke extreme reactions.
If we don't critique, we lose the chance of someone taking feedback from us, no matter how remote that chance is.
I will stop watching the day I cannot take it any more. the day I think there is no redeeming the story or the characters. the day I lose interest. the day I find something else thats remotely as interesting and entertaining and enriching as this one, and is executed more efficiently
Having said that, I have not seen a lot of posts that say "if you dont like it, dont watch it". Actual leavers have already left I believe.
In fact, I see posts regularly made by people who give honest feedback about what they felt, and they do keep coming back. There are posts where I have seen a critic actually praising something good (and vice versa).
sorry, for the rant, but like I said... all things considered this is still a peaceful and democratic forum.
OMG, I cant agree more...I usually stay away from controversial threads but then at times like this couldnt stay silent.
I too feel that i have a multi personality because after some episodes, I am so much in love with Raman and the track. At the next episode, i feel like I hate Raman for the tears he gives to his wife. Its surely the power of the story that feels like more than a fictional story to me.
I have to be honest here with this accident track. I was very much disliking Raman for having hidden things from Ishita and then the blame of theft too. No wife would bear this...NO WIFE...
but i know serials mein aisa twists aatha rehta hai...
I too was a little bit shocked seeing Ishita's reaction and her instant empathy for Raman when she understood that it is Adi whom he is protecting. doing that is really tough for any wife.
It is a bit unrealistic but then I guess its Ishita's nature too. She thinks very logically and doesnt get carried away by her inner emotions...
She might be angry from inside with Raman for hiding things but that doesnt let her take wrong decisions at any time..Thats actually one main difference between Raman and Ishita. Raman always gets carried by his emotions and his anger. He just goes on doing what he think is right and what will satisfy his current anger or pain. But some people are like that and we cant blame them either. But eventually, they do buck up and arrive at right decisions. Here Raman is the same way too.
I am not justifying neither am I accusing Raman here but as the topic says, I am trying to stay calm and think logically.
No two people are same and so we need to understand how Raman Kumar Bhalla is as a father and husband
I have something to tell about Raman hiding Adi's mistakes to all. I guess its a parent trait. A parent can scold, beat and punish their kids but they are really not comfortable when another person does the same. We feel insulted when a third person judges and blames our kid. In this case, everybody including Ishu is third person as far as Adi is concerned. I guess that would change now after this track. Raman might start trusting Ishu more and entrust Adi's responsibility also with her.
He does have too much obsession on Adi, probably because he is his first born and also because Adi hates him and Raman wants to get closer to his son. So he does all that he can to please Adi. We cant accuse him fully for that...
having said that, ppl are free to criticize the character and the track.
But but...there is a clean line of boundary between criticizing and bashing...We need to understand that and put forth our opinion in appropriate words.
And now I really want Raman to apologize and make Ishita feel good and wanted in his life. She deserves that for sure and CVs are planning it too...
