It's a bit more serious at the end and i think i'll had a touch of angst from here on. Hope you'll all still like it but if you don't want to read, i'll understand. Thank you again for reading.

Part 4 : Raman and ishita fight because of Sheila Kejwani !

In the morning Raman is the first to wake up. He doesn't understand what he is doing on the floor but then remembers what happened the previous night. He gets up and feel a big pain in his lower back from sleeping on the hard floor.

Raman : "ouuuch. Ugh. Bagwan ki bygada hai mene tumhara jo itna sazaa deh raha hai?"

Ishita wakes up hearing him. She sees him holding his lower back in pain. She gets up and goes close to him "Raman ? What happened ? Are you hurt?" She goes to touch him but he brushes her away

Raman : "what are you doing?"

Ishita : "I'm just checking. .."

Raman interrupts her : "no need for that. You made me sleep on the floor because you were afraid I'd touch you in your sleep and now you want to get all touchy touchy with me? No thanks! I'll manage myself"

Ishita is left speechless as raman goes in the bathroom wincing at each step. "Yeh ravan kumar...I was just trying to help..." she mutters.

They both gets ready and leave for work.

At his office Raman is trying to concentrate on some files but the pain is too strong. He calls mihir in his office.

Mihir : "haa bhai?"

Raman : "mera kamar mein bohot daard ho rahi hai. Aaj mein yeh sab samal nahi paonga. I'm going home. You take care of everything please."

Mihir : "no problem bhai. Aap jaake raam karo. I'm here to take care of everything."

Raman : "thanks mihir."

When raman is back at home he swears: "Yeh jansi ki rani meri kamaar thoot ke hi rahe ghi. Viah karke meri maat maar gayi..."

He hears ruhi talking with someone in her room. He supposes she is with ishita so he takes the balm and goes to them. He wants ishita to put balm on him as he is really in pain since the morning.

When he enters the room, he is shocked to see that ruhi isn't with Ishita but with Sheila kejwani!!

Sheila looks at him seductively.

Raman : "Oh it's you? I thought it was... Well nothing. How's the studies going beta?" Ruhi runs to him and hugs him.

Ruhi : "Papa!! I've worked very hard today. Miss Kejwani told me now I can go play."

Sheila : "Yes. The session is over for now. You did a really good job today ruhi!"

Ruhi is happy : "Thank you Miss ! I'm going to tell daddi maa!" and she runs outside.

Sheila and Raman are left alone in ruhi's room. Sheila gets up and comes to raman. Raman is too busy looking at her, he drops the balm. He gets back to his sense and picks up the balm, wincing because of the pain it causes in his back. Sheila takes the balm from his hands.

Sheila : "it seems to me that you're in pain. Maybe I could help you with that?" she is talking about the balm. She comes closer and runs her palm on Raman's pecs. "Just take off your shirt and I'll take care of everything else." She is looking deep into raman's eyes.

Raman is amused by her attitude and wants to see how far she would actually go. Sheila thinks he is encouraging her so she keeps getting closer to him.

At the same time Ishita comes back from the clinic. She sees ruhi playing with her grandpa in the living room.

Toshi : "Tum aagayi ishita? Accha hua, yeh leh tchai tere liye aur raman ke liye. Who aapke kamre main ho ga. Jaake dede usko or tu bhi pihle." She gives her a tray with two cups of tea.

Ishita takes the tray and goes in her room but raman isn't here. She hear raman's laugh in Ruhi's room so she puts the tray and goes there.

When Sheila tries to undo the first button of his shirt. Raman starts laughing out loud. Sheila is confused . He puts his hands on hers to stop her and he smiles as he is about to fire her. But he freezes as he sees Ishita standing in the door. His face falls. Sheila sees Ishita too. Without a word she takes her handbag and leaves. Ishita is left speechless. Raman takes a step towards her : "Ishi-" but Ishita turns around and goes into her room.

Raman shoots in Ruhi's toys. He runs his hand through his hair in anger. "Ishita ko abhi hi anna tha? Patani kya socha hai usne mujko aur Sheila ko dek khe. Zaroor usko laga hoga ke mein uss besharmi ke saath flirt kar raha tha... "

He breathes deeply and goes in his room to explain to her.

When he enters the room, Ishita is looking through the window, her back is turned towards him. He can see that she has crossed her arms.

Raman to himself : "Jansi ki rani is on jaang mode. Better be cautious here..." He clears his throat.

Ishita turns her face on her side to show that she acknowledges his presence but she doesn't look at him.

Raman : "Eerr... about what just happened... It's not what you think."

Ishita turns around and looks at him angrily : "well then tell me what was happening."

Raman doesn't like the tone she is using with him, he doesn't respond immediately, so ishita continues.

Ishita : "Oh you don't even need to explain. I understand perfectly what is going on here. I didn't let you touch me, so you go around flirting with every one. Are you so desperate Raman?"

Raman angry : "What the hell is wrong with you? Where did you get this idea that I'm trying to touch you? Hosh mein raho! Did you look at yourself? Did you forget about the "sirf ruhi ke liye" arrangement? Why the hell would I want to... touch you?!" He makes a disgusted face.

Ishita : "Why did you suddenly throw the couch for? Wasn't it to have me in your bed?!" she feels shy saying this but the anger is stronger than shyness so she says it anyway.

Raman to the roof: "arre bagwan iska dimaag ka hilaaj karo! Jaldi please!" then he turns to ishita : "Yes I did throw the couch so that you would sleep on the bed."

Ishita " ha! I knew it" squinting her eyes

Raman pointing his finger at her: "shut up! I'm not finished here!" He gets close "you want to know why I did that? Because you were having back aches so I thought I should do something."

Ishita is surprised: "My back pain... but I've never complained to you about it. Not even once. So how did you..."

Raman : "I don't need you to tell me everything to understand alright? I'm not like you, with half a brain functioning. I'm aware of my surroundings!"

Ishita is silent.

Raman : "That's why I threw the couch, because I knew that you would never accept to sleep on the bed otherwise. If there would have been enough place, I would have bought you another bed... I don't even know why I'm doing all this. I should let you with your own problems."

Raman turns his back to her and crosses his arms. Ishita feels guilty for having such thoughts and she feels really bad to think that he was doing all this for her... She is about to apologize when she hears Raman muttering : "having you in my bed... Have you gone mad? It should be me the one worried about sharing a bed with you. Ulta woh mere upaar ilzam lagarahi hai...Bewakoof aurat!"

Ishita gets mad at him. "Oh hello! Maybe I overreacted about the bed situation but that doesn't explain why you were undressing yourself in front of our daughter's teacher!"

Raman : "For god's sake! I was NOT taking my clothes off!"

Ishita : "do you think I'm stupid? I know what I saw. You disgust me raman."

Raman rolls his eyes and puts his hands on his hips, waiting for her lecture to stop.

Ishita : "I never thought you were such a man. We may not have THAT type of relationship but that doesn't mean you can cheat on me, in my own home." Ishita is on jansi ki rani mode and doesn't realize what she is saying. She continues "You know what's even more disturbing? It's that you're doing such things when you were yourself cheated on. I thought you out of all people would know how it hurts... But I guess you're not better than Shagun..."

Raman gets furious hearing this. He was ready to listen to her lectures but she shouldn't have crossed the limit. He gets closer to her, with rage in his eyes.

Ishita is a bit scared, she backs away but there is the wall behind her. She is stuck between the wall and raman. He puts his face right in front of her and looks down in her eyes.

Raman : "So you want to dig into the past right? Well no problem with me. Maybe you're right, I'm not better than Shagun. That's my own problem, it has nothing to do with you. But let's get one thing clear. I will NEVER touch you. That's probably why subbu let you at the altar ! He said it was because of your infertility but in reality, he just couldn't imagine spending one night with you so he ran for his life."

Ishita has tears in her eyes, Raman glares at her then turns to leave. He makes one step towards the door but turns back. " And about the cheating topic. As you said we're not in THAT type of relationship so don't expect THAT type of faithfulness from me. Thank you."

He leaves slamming the door. Ishita start sobbing. As soon as the word "shagun" had left her mouth, she knew she was crossing limits. But she didn't expect Raman to be so harsh on her.

Nice update! Part 5 sounds depressing. But I think yr story goes like this. Keep continuing. I want to read more. Hehehehe! Waiting for the next part!

Just read all 4 parts. It's sweet that Raman wanted to do something nice for Ishita by throwing away the couch so that she would sleep on the bed. But WOW, Didn't expect such an intense turn of events by the end of part 4. Ishita crossed her lines by comparing Raman to Shagun and well, Raman crossed his lines as well by mentioning Subbu. I hope they both realise that they both were at fault.
