I am here to vent out my frustration on today's episode, and I'm sure many of you will agree that they are making Raman's character look extremely dumb. I missed shopping with my family today to watch YHM only to hear " Abhi bhi itna dum hai ki main khud Shagun ko bacha sakoon".
All this was after hearing Ishita indirectly confess that she has become possesive about him and does not like his proximity to that weirdo Shagun. If he simply got angry and asked her to shutup, it would've been more impactful because that would show his love for Ishita, and how irritated he is to hear what is NOT true. But that whole " don't give me the picture, I can save her myself was really annoying. After all that, he still thinks that Ishita not only took the picture, but that it is important to tell her that he is strong enough to save his ex-wife who cheated on him.
I absolutely love love love this show, but I do not want them coming up with tracks where you start to hate any character that is meant to be loved. We should be able to feel Raman's pain and be torn between Raman and Ishita as their fans. But what is happening here is that the human in me is becoming Anti-Raman. First, he lied to her about Adi doing the accident DESPITE Ishita showing her concern for Adi at that one party a few weeks ago. Then today's scene, and now from the spoilers, he is gonna book a room for them because she cares about his spoilt brat of a son Adi. I don't think their love should be shown to be so conditional if they really wanna show " Yeh Hai Mohabbatein". Why didn't he do all this when she devoted her life to Ruhi ? That's another thing I don't like is that he is shown way too biased towards Adi who is not so young that he can't understand his Mom is the wrong one morally and logically. This is turning from a innocent love story where 2 incomplete people in pain try to complete each other to a story where Ishita has to please Raman's entire Khandaan to win his heart. I'm waiting for CVs to get back to the game. I miss the episodes before thsi dumb track. I used to be grinning and today I was depressed after watching a show even though its just fiction. What do ya'll think ?
P.S.- What's up with toshi ji's Bipolar Mood Disorder. One day she's all over Ishita and one day shes yelling at her like shes her servant and a criminal like her grandson.I forgave her for siding with Simmi and now shes back to square 1. I think both Shagun and her should be shown going to a psychiatrist in the last episode of YHM ( even if thats after 5 years đ) .
