Raman calls up Mihir and asks him to book a resort for him & ishita. Mihir is pleasantly shocked and happy too as finally Raman is trying to mend his relationship with Ishita.
He assures to leave it to him about the booking and other formalities. Raman thanks him and ends the call.
Ishita, kal sirf hum dono jayenge picnic pe, na adi ke liye na ruhi ke liye. Sirf hum dono ke liye hoga.He again wonders what if she mistakens him if he asks her to come with him alone.
Jo bhi ho, meri biwi hai. Uske saath picnic pe hi to jana hai... hope wo madrasan maanjaye.Raman gets a call from Mihir regarding some urgent papers to be signed by Raman.
"Bhai, ghar pe file bhej du? Aap wahi pe sign kardena."
"Nahi Mihir! Waise bhi ghar pe kuch khaas kar nahi raha. Main aata hu office."
Raman reaches office and resumes his work.
Mihir comes to his cabin and says "bhai, kal ke liye resort book kardiya hai."
"Thanks Mihir"
"Waise bhai, thank you."
"Mujhe kisliye ?"
"Aap pehli baar shaadi ke itne mahino baad ishita bhabhi ko dil se khush karne ke liye koshish jo kar rahe hai. Bina kisi aur ke kehne pe."
"Main hi bewakoof tha mihir. Jo uss Shagun ki baaton me aake Ishita se sab kuch chupaya aur usr itna hurt kiya. Lekin fir bhi ishita ne har kadam pe mera saath diya hai. Ab mujhe uski value samajh me aa rahi hai."
"Wah bhai. Aap to full on bhabi ke pyaar me doob gaye!"
Raman gives him a cold stare to avoid mihir tease him any futher. Mihir tries to control his laughter.
Raman gives him back saying "zyada hassi aa rahi hai? Abhi daant thodunga. Fir jaana apni pyaar bhabhi ke clinic pe treatment ke liye."
Mihir replies "chahe mera muh band karwalo...par apni mann ki to suno bhai! You're in love."
He quickly disappears from the cabin before Raman could scold him.
As mihir leaves, Raman smiles to himself wondering if what Mihir said is true? Is he in love? With jhansi ki rani?
Nah! Wo achi hai, caring hai...par pyaar? No way Raman!On the other side, Ishita is done with her last patient and comes back to her cabin. She relaxes and closes her eyes thinking about Raman.
Ye baar baar Ravan kumar ka chehra kyun dhikta hai mujhe har jagah! Aankhe band karu toh bhi aur aankhein kholu toh bhi.She suddenly remembers Raman's words in the hospital where he asked "kahin tumhe mujhse pyaar to nahi hogaya?".
She blushes as the words echo in her mind.
Her thoughts get interrupted when she sees Raman entering her cabin.
Aiyoo! Firse! Ye Raman paas na hote hue bhi har jagah dikh rahe hai.She holds her head in between her hands and closes her eyes tightly thinking that her imaginative Raman will disappear.
Raman sits in the chair opposite to her wondering what's wrong with her. He asks - "Ishita? Tum theek to ho? Aise kyun aankhein band karli jaise koi bhoot ko dekha ho?"
Ishita instantly opens her eyes and realises this is not her imagination this time but indeed Raman was sitting there.
She relaxes and smiles at him which confuses him.
She replies sarcastically- "haan to aap ko dekhna ya bhoot ko dekhna ek hi baat hai."
"Khud ki shakal dekhi hai aine me? Bhoot bhi darjayega teri shakal dekhke!"
Ishita makes faces at him. He laughs at her irritation.
She then asks "waise aap iss waqt yahan kaise?"
He replies "office me kaam tha to jaana pada. Fir socha Ruhi ko bhi school se pick kar leta hu on the way and tumhe bhi if you're done with your patients."
Ishita agrees and both leave together to pick up Ruhi.
At the school, the bell rang and Ruhi comes out along with other kids. She sees Raman and Ishita waiting for her. She happily runs into their arms as they both bend down with their arms wide open, both giving a hug simultaneously to Ruhi.
Ruhi happily asks "wow! Papa, ishima! Aaj aap dono aaye mujhe lene. I'm so happy!"
She kissed both Raman and ishita on their cheek.
Raman held Ruhi in his arms with Ishita placing her hand over Raman's hand. They both look at each other and smile.
Raman tells Ruhi- "Beta, aapki Ishima aur papa humesha aapke saath rahenge."
Ruhi places her one arm around Ishita's shoulder and pulls her close towards her and Raman. "Yay! Hum teeno humesha saath saath rahenge."
Seeing their angel happy, both Raman and Ishita kiss her on her cheeks simultaneously.
They drive back home. Raman gets a call from Mr.Tandon.
Ishita changes Ruhi's dress and gives her milk. Ruhi seems lost in some thoughts.
Ishita notices and asks "Roo baby! Jaldi doodh khatam karo. Aur itni der se kya soch rahe ho aap?"
Ruhi makes ishita sit on the bed beside her. She then tells her about the sonograph photos of sravu's baby sibling and about sravu telling her that babies come from mumma's tummy.
Ruhi asks her - "Ishima, aapne to kaha tha ki mumma papa babies ko hospital se laate hai. Par sravu ne kaha ki mumma ki tunmy se aate hai. Usne jhoot bola na?"
Ishita is sad remembering her infertility but at the same time she was not able to understand how to answer Ruhi's innocent questions.
She tries to say "nahi beta sravu ne jhoot nahi bola."
"Fir aapne to kaha hospital se laate hai? Aur tummy to itna chota hai... baby andar kaise breath karega?"
Ishita tries to distract her from the topic by asking her to finish the milk soon and do homework. But Ruhi, being the ziddi daughter of two ziddi parents, wasn't going to let it go.
Raman enters their room after ending the call. Ishita sees him and gives a smile as she tells Ruhi to ask the question to her papa.
Raman doesn't understand what's going on but he tells Ruhi thinking she's asking about studies "Beta bolo kya baat hai? Mere paas har problem ka solution hai. Aakhir mai humesha first aata tha padhai me"
Ruhi asks him about the same question wgich she asked Ishita. Raman feels embarrassed as he looks at ishita who is trying hard to control her laughter seeing Raman's plight.
Raman too tries to avoid her questions but Ruhi keeps pestering him for answer.
Finally Raman explains Ruhi that "Babies grow in mumma's tummy and when they ate vig enough to open their eyes and see the world, then babies come out from mumma's tummy with the help of doctors in the hospital. Then mumma n papa bring the baby home."
Ishita is proud at him the way he explained Ruhi.
Ruhi understood and further asked "fir hum bhi to naya chota baby la sakte hai na papa? (Turns to ishita) Ishima, aap bhi mere liye ek chota baby brother ya sister lao na."
Ishita's eyes become moist as she tries not to cry. Raman notices Ishita's tears and feels bad for her.
He tells Ruhi "Roo beta, aapke paas sravu hai, ananya hai aur abhi sravu ki behan/bhai bhi ayega. Aap pehle ek achi badi behan bano for Ananya n baby ki. Unka khayal bhi aapko rakhna hai na."
Ruhi innocently says "papa, mai bahut achi sis banungi. Sabka khayal rahungi. Fir to aap aur ishima mere liye bhi chotu baby layenge na?:
Raman knew there's no pount in trying to make ruhi understand as she's too small to know of Ishita's condition and the truth that they can't give her any sibling.
But not wanting to disappoint her, ramab says "ok beta. Hum bhi aapke liye ek chota bhai ya behan layenge. Par jab aap aur thodi badi hojao. Tab tak aap iss bare me aur kuch nahi poochogi. Theek hai?"
Ruhi feels happy that if bot now atleast sometime later she'll get her own baby brother or sister. She thanks Raman and jumps off to play.
Ishita asks him in a hurt tone "kyun jhoot bola aapne raman? Aap jaante ho ki mai chahkar bhi Ruhi ko ya aapko ye khushi nahi de sakti!" She closed her eyes to let out a lone tear.
Raman felt the strong urge to hug her and wipe her tears but he knew at this moment, he cannot do that.
He held her hand and said "ishita, Ruhi abhi bachchi hai. Usko sach bolenge bhi to samajh nahi payegi. Aur fir uska dil tootega to na tum dekh paogi na main. Jab vo thodi badi hojayegi to hum samjhadenge."
Ishita understood his point. She forced a smile on her lips to let him know she's okay.
He tries to lighten her mood by saying "waise ej baat poochun?"
Ishita nods.
"Agar tumhare bas me hota, to tum Ruhi ke liye, chota baby sis/bro dena chahti kya?"
He looked into her eyes with a naughty smile.
She blushed looking at him knowing very well what he meant by that.
He understood her answer by the way she blushed. Yet he continued to ask "bolo na? Haan ya na?"
Ishita freed her hands frim his hold and stammered as she struggled to reply "huh? Kuch bhi haan? Aap dono baap beti ek jaise ho! Sawal pooch pooch kar dimag kharab kardete ho."
She turned away facing her back towards him as she tried to control her feelings.
Raman smiled to himself seeing his jhansi ki rani blushing red.
She tried to leave from there when his voice stopped her "suno!" He said. "Wo...main..."
Ishita turned to face him asking "kuch kehna hai kya Raman?"
Raman is nervous thinking how to tell and convince her for the picnic.
He says "wo main soch raha tha ki hum kal ghoomne jaye...sirf ek din ke liye. Pichle kuch din bahut saha hai humne. Socha ek din ke liye thoda relax karen. Tum chalogi na?"
Ishita feels happy on hearing this. She thinks Raman is planning for family picnic with iyers and Bhalla's together.
She happily agrees saying "bahut acha idea hai Raman. Waise main bhi kab se soch rahi thi. Itna sab kuch hone ke baad, we need some break. Kab jana hai aur kahan?"
Raman is overwhelmed that she agreed to spend a day with him alone without any hesitation. He tells her "wo surprize hai. Aur kal subah 6am ready rehna. Late mat karna humesha ki tarah."
Before she could say anything, he interrupts her saying "aur haan, plz tum apne kanjeevaram ke thaan me mat aana. Hum abhi shopping ke liye chal rahe hai. Kuch dhang ke kapde lene tumhare liye."
Ishita's furious at that but same time feels happy that he's taking her for shopping. After all she wants to dress up for her husband too.
Both raman and ishita reach a mall. Ishita's eyes hook on towards sarees while raman looks at the western dresses.
She shows him a georgette saree beige coloured with silver border. He refuses it.
He shows her an orange knee length sleeveless dress but she refuses it.
After a lot of cute argument, finally Raman glances over a beautiful blue anarkali dress with netted full sleeves and green chudi pant and green-blue dupatta. He asks the shop keeper to pack that.
Ishita too liked it and was happy that Raman got such a beautiful dress for her.
After settling the bill, both decide to have dinner in the food court since it was already too late and they were hungry.
Later, they reached home tired and worn out. Ruhi was sleeping with Mihika at Iyers.
Hence raman dozed off to sleep on gis bed while Ishita as usual slept on the couch.
