The whole track is about "sazaa" dilwana to the culprit. But I don't understand, in an accident if the victim is fit n fine is there a law to punish the driver?? Someone please tell me because I don't know. From my personal experience, my family had a major accident when I was a kid. My mom broke her leg like it was almost like she would have lost her leg but they did some surgery so she can walk but her bone even today has a slight bending which we can see from outside. I was injured but not very serious and recovered quickly. We filed a case and found that the bus driver was drunk. It took a few years to get our claim. The driver since he was a govt servant was suspended for a few weeks and then we received compensations which mean nothing comapred to the health issues that my mother still has bcoz of the accident.
So the point is if there is no loss of life, does our law punish the driver or ask him to pay the compensation? If a life is lost then only a case exists for "unintentional murder". In other case, the accident claims are generally not entitled to punishment. Then whats this fuss is all about the current track?? Raman or even Ashok can surely afford to pay the compensation and get Shagun out of it. Then why all this drama of insaaf ka jung and sachai's jeet ??

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't knw any legal formalities. I'm saying from my experience only.

It doesn't matter if the person becomes fine, an accident is an accident. The fact that she could've died is enough for punishing the guilty. I don't know how Indians rules work, but I can tell you about an American lawsuit. A pedestrian was accidentally hit by a brick that fell from a building under construction. The brick hit his leg, and it broke. It was a minor injury. The man got a 1.5 million dollars compensation from his lawsuit. Ishita's mother was in way worse shape. She had a subdural hematoma and in most cases, patients don't survive these kinds of injury, so you do the math. I honestly don't know about India, but in any country where law is properly uphold, the crime is enough to put you behind the jail forever.
