Tandon probably got the car for Trisha and Neil and Trisha were in the car when they accidentally hit Amma. I think Neil is probably covering things up fir Trisha. Once this is revealed, it will put Raman in a tough situation as Tandon is his biggest financier!

It fits in with the fact that Tandon had access to her phone.
