Finally, i managed to watch yesterday's episode... I was initially afraid of the same on seeing few posts like Raman going back to Shagun, etc... But, the episode was too good...
Regarding the episode, i felt that scene between Raman and Shagun was needed to bring Ishita's pain before Raman... It finally happened... The moment we were waiting for. Ishita finally gave up and showed her vulnerable side to Raman.
Thanks to Shagun for that... I didn't see this coming. I thought Raman would have already done whatever he was supposed to do...But, this was even more better... Raman had that conversation with Shagun only because of Adi. That one particular scene made the show realistic... Whatever might happen, Adi is always going to bind them... as his parents.
But, Raman who stood there didn't look like Shagun's ex-husband... It was Adi's father who forgot his new wife for a while... He got carried away by his love for his son that he uttered those words... He didn't have Ishita in his mind when he said those words to Shagun... Raman has never expected the same from Ishita. Knowing what a man he is, he can never hurt Ishita for this particular reason which was never her fault. That moment was just between Raman, Adi and Adi's mom. He didn't know about Ishita's presence. See it the other way... After Shagun, Raman never wanted another woman in his life and he's still afraid of falling for Ishita. He could have even meant it that way. Poor Ishita was hurt without Raman getting to know about the same.
Ishita...amazing job by Divyanka di... Those eyes spoke volume when camera rolled towards her. There was a tint of jealousy, pain, helplessness, realization,etc... For Ishita, it is just those words which pierced her... Nothing else... Though Ishita can understand Raman's love for Adi, the harsh reality was smiling upon her... She couldn't see anything more... And this time it was Raman... Ishita would have never expected those words coming out of Raman's mouth even in her wildest dreams... In particular, to Shagun... That made her go out of that venue...
Raman, this man is the new improved version who was searching for his wife... After ensuring Shagun that he'll always remain Adi's loving father no matter what, he came back... to his world with his Ishita and Ruhi... He was genuinely worried for her and it made him call Romi to ensure if she reached home... Sameways, this man doesn't want his family to know about whatever is happening between him and his wife... So, he asked Romi to forget about that phone call... Finally, he was relieved on seeing his Jhansi ki Rani...
That convo was the best till date in YHM... Its just not because it brought into fore Ishita's pain... It was flawed... Which made it look perfect... I can bet on the point that the writer would have definitely placed her in Ishita's position before writing that conversation. Isn't that how we react when we are upset? We find ourselves falling in short of words to explain our stand to the other person... We never have a drafted script with us to pour everything in front of the other person. Exactly, that was what we saw yesterday... That convo was inter-mitten, lacked continuity, made us feel if is lacking somewhere...
As usual, Ishita tried to hide about her being upset with Raman. She slowly started expressing her feelings through her taunts... She showed him how helpless she was for she had to depend on him financially even if she wanted to go back. Raman understood that something is tormenting Ishita. So, he kept on questioning her... The way Ishita confessed what affected her the most... awesome job by the writer... She didn't take Shagun's name on her own. We do that when we are insecure. We don't even like to take the person's name who is making us feel so. But, that was more than enough for Raman. He understood this is not going to end here and sat near her.
This time, Ishita became a typical wife when she lamented over her infertility. There has been times when Raman has taunted her regarding the same. She has never backed off... She has always back answered him in her JKR mode. But, yesterday, things were different between Raman and Ishita. She was unhappy with her husband for bringing that before his ex-wife and asked him as to why he married her if he was interested in fathering a kid again? When Raman assured her that he didn't mean it that way, i felt that was all Ishita was waiting to listen to.
After hearing to the same, Ishita wanted to share her pain with Raman. Raman, an insensitive soul felt her pain... Those eyes of Ishita, brimmed with tears melted him... He understood her pain... The latter part of her convo... made it look real. Ishita needn't tell Raman that she will come between father and son because Raman knows it and Raman won't let it happen, if something like that is going to crop up. Still, Ishita assured him... I felt that assurance was given to let the convo move on... She had something else in her mind... She was just beating around the bush to convey what she wanted to...
Raman made it easy for Ishita by uttering Shagun's name. That was what she was waiting for... She wanted Raman to respect Shagun. Yes, it showed Ishita's goodness but there was something more... She was explaining about feelings and etc... Her explanation regarding anger that it is reserved for loved ones...fine... A typical serial wala dialogue... Was that the main point of their convo...No... Ishita wanted Raman to move on... Actually speaking, she wanted Raman to throw Shagun out of his life. Ishita is too smart that she opted for a diplomatic route...
After advising him, she wanted to make sure that it doesn't happen again... She didn't want Shagun to remind Raman anything once again... A silent message to Shagun that being Raman's wife, it is her responsibility... She wanted Raman to share everything regarding Adi and Ruhi with her... Really, doesn't she know well about Ruhi? It was just about Adi so that Shagun doesn't come between them... That promise, Ishita became a child who wasn't convinced with Raman's words alone... With her cute innocent face, she extended her hand which was accepted by a smiling Raman who was quite surprised... His wife who gave him the urge to move on with her mature words is now pining for a promise...
Dhaba scene doesn't need words or a separate topic... It conveyed a story of its own...
Thanks for putting up with my bickering... I'm sure about something... YHM is driving me crazy... Isliye, over react karne ki aadat pad chuki hai...(Regarding the actual culprit in that accident)... Can't help it...
