Hello Nikki
Me again... Boy your posts are making me type a lot these days 😊and I am lovin it.
Good job with this one too dear. I wanted to be up and res and read last night itself, but was knackered after writing 'our' OS and I couldn't stay up.
So, coming to the point. All the 4 'evidences' you have provided to show Ishita's change are so perfect👍🏼
The woman has changed a lot, and as a writer, I am HAPPY that they added these changes to Ishita's character, as a viewer i am Seeti maaring 🥳. And its a miracle they chose to show so much positive change in a couple of episodes!
so, here goes my Ramayan 😊some of it will remind you of my reply to your last topic!
She is now brave enough to accept that there is someone who cares for her. It would have been too difficult for her in the past. She has been shown to be someone who internalizes her feelings, and was shut out to anything positive. Now the excuse of seeing his goodness is actually exposing her heart too. That requires some courage
Spa scene was so paisa vasool. Absolutely no lecture mode. It was a very goo Raman-mode, but Ishita style. Thank you CVs for making her stand up like this. In that one long monologue, she basically declarared the following:
- her love for Ruhi
- her criticism of Shagun as a parent
- her belief in her marriage
- her acceptance of her destiny and acknowledgement of her good luck
The friends' scene where she openly praises her in-laws and Raman. She wasn't showing off to the ladies, neither was she lying to protect her family's image. She was genuinely thanking her stars for bringing such happiness to her. For the first time, she has herself acknowledged that she has so much to do, and without the support of her new family and her husband, she wouldnt be able to do it. and a special mention to Raman's support! she didnt include him when she was praising the Bhalla family. She mentioned him separately. Because he doesnt support her in a materialistic way, like everyone else does. He is just there for her. He is her pillar now. I believe if Ishita thought again about what she said, and how she said it, she'd realise the importance of her realisation!
And the last point you made. Waah.👏
The woman doesnt differenciate between him and her now. She knows they are a team. She knows that any insult to him is an insult to her. She knows that as a unit, they need to show the world they are happy, and enjoying life. Especially because she believes they are really enjoying! Honestly Nikki, if I were Raman, I would have shed a tear when Ishita said that line about enjoying! and that subtle reminder she gave him about not drinking too much, that was so tastefully done. Not like a nag, not like a broken record. It was done with genuine concern and affection.
Now, my favourite part of my replies... the quote 😃 This is one to show how the party seems familiar, the people familiar, Shagun's antics familiar. but so much has changed in her now!!!
