I agree. They tried to pass it off as a funny scene but I didn't like it one bit. I know she shouldn't be taking out her anger on a kid but her scolding and behaving rudely with him is natural. This pulling him up by the shirt collar is not right at all.

I agree too...
Children never forget such things. it would lay fresh in their minds. directing the anger she had on Bala at Shravan was ridiculous. She shouldnt have done that. The scene was going hilarious but this one action wasnt funny at all!

From the very beginning, the CV's protrayed the iyers as classy and educated, and the bhalla's as loud-mouthed and obnoxious.

take for an example, Bala and vandu are both well educated with good jobs, ishita is a doctor, and even mihika has a job.

Whereas in the bhalla household, there are two failed marriages, shagun is characterless, parmeet is characterless and a sexual predator to boot. then there is simmi, who is not only rude, but she has been sitting in her maayka while living off her brother's income. Neither she, or her useless husband ever had a job or make any contribution to the household but since none have any self respect, it is completely all right.

Romi is a derailed youth, who has failed classes many times before but now has resorted to illegal means to pass exams. if that was not enough, he went on to frame an innocent man and almost ruined a girls life.

even after all this, why is toshi so arrogant? there are many bad seeds in her family but she is still busy playing the blame game. she has so far, completely failed as a mother. instead of covering up your children't flaws, embrace them, and teach them something better.

Simmi's bitchy attitude has been getting on my nerves, her habit of insulting ishita by referring to her as "madrasan" makes my blood boil. she has always been very uppity even though she has nothing going for her. both mother and daughter have a false sense of pride, please look at how dysfunctionl your entire family is;

Exactly my sentiments. And Simmi does have some nerve for sure. Such false pretense and pride over what? A cheap, characterless husband? A failed marriage? Public humiliation by others and even in front of others? She is completely blind, deluded, and absolutely shameless. And what is Simmi's accomplishment in life? Abusing Ishita and the Iyers? Being a parasite on her family? Acting like a shield for her cheap husband and useless brother? Seriously, how can you not have any recognition of how messed up and aimless YOUR own life is? Pathetic...🤢

Completely agree. I am glad Ishita is there to gently nurture Ruhi because absolutely no one else in the Bhalla household can be a role model for her. Mr Bhalla is probably too quiet for his own good, he is just a henpecked husband, his daughter's family breakdown - he has nothing to say or do, his son gets caught in a paper leak scandal - he sees no reason to intervene as his older son takes charge, his daughter in law gets thrown out - he stands like a deaf, dumb and blind spectator...Completely useless.🥱

Haha...I know. Rinky totally escaped becoming another casualty of the Bhalla family..😛

Actually the only person I find relatively normal in that household besides Ruhi & Rinki, is Mr. Bhalla. While i agree he is quiet in situations where he should speak up, I do believe its coz he has relinquished control to Raman at a certain level. His being quiet at times by not jumping down the throats of Ishita and Iyer family is something I appreciate.

There are enough people in his family playing the blame game and its good that he at least tries to understands the situation. When he failed Ishita in the Pervmeet fiasco, he actually apologized to her later. In Bala-Romi drama he clearly blamed Romi and even dragged Toshi back from the Iyer's.

Also how can we forget, it was Mr. Bhalla who approached Mr. Iyer for Raman-Ishita marriage 😃, convinced Raman, turned down all the crap that Simmy & Toshi threw up against the alliance. His actions towards Ishita on the next day of marriage were very sweet.
