1) I agree that the fall-out of the Parmeet/sexual harassment story could/should have been handled with a little more care and diligence. A conversation between Raman and Ishita with Ishita expressing her point of view and ordeal I feel was very necessary to complete Raman manaofying Ishita/Ishita forgiving Raman. Alas, we did not see that. I did, however, still like the the simple scene between them because I felt it was matched with the current status of their relationship (although I know I'm in the minority with this😊). I think given where they were/are at that point in time, nothing more or less was expected. But the exclusion of this conversation has been a glaring omission. :(
2) Along that point, in that story we saw Raman begin to miss Ishita and realize the weight of her lacking presence. However, since they have 'reunited', we have seen Raman make comments about her being a nuisance etc etc. Where you and I differ is that I don't find that inconsistent with his character or the current state of their story. Their relationship is, ultimately, (at least now when the 'hate' has passed and there is a softness towards each other), one filled with banter and nok-jhok. I don't think either can live without tanay maaring the other, in the same way I don't think they can live without each other at this point. I believe both go hand in hand. After Ruhi, I think this is what binds them, in sorts. It's their direct way of avoiding how they internally feel by indirectly conveying externally how they feel about each other.
I'm really glad we're getting episodes like Saturday's and today's, because what I found lacking between Raman/Ishita was the 'us getting to know each other and realizing we're a husband and wife in addition to mother and father to Ruhi'. Episodes like these allow us to see them and how they connect (through banter, being an obvious connection) outside of Ruhi, and them just getting to know each other as people. I really like that. 😊
Thanks for your reviews. Always fair and balanced. I hope I haven't said anything to offend!
