In the interest of The viewer's interests I say

Whatever turn the plot takes for the moment or later---- . The creatives must make it a point of making Raman and Ishita aware of eacother and that too Raman must discover and become aware of the woman in Ishita. Not solely because of her sterling qualities and yeomen spirit when it comes to helping others or her sense of fairness or her love for Ruhi. This is one of those rare soaps which has a good storyline, plot etc but the soap revolves round the relationship of a man and a woman whom destiny has thrown together like two people who have been shipwrecked on a lonely island. They are strangers in a way because the reason for their marriage has got nothing to do with marriage and they have to live together in a family but in private each is on his/ her own which can be lonely and they have come together because the ship of matrimony which Raman and Ishita embarked -- one got capsized mid sea and the other caste away Ishita. And a moment came when both of them felt that their saving grace was Ruhi and only Ruhi. A great reason to come together,to never part but not enough to sustain the viewer's interest always.

The upcoming blue dress scene is there keeping in mind our interest where Raman and Ishita will interact with each other. On a certain level they've already started interacting. In fact these two people understand each other more than normal couples do. Remember the bidding track, then the Parmeet track (phone convo and Raman having faith in Ishita) that says a lot about how their relationship is moving beyond Ruhi.
