A set back

Raman's silence which is supposed to ensue according to reports when Ishita accuses Parmeet once again in front of the family and Raman's reaction of silence in the face of all these accusations against his wife will shock and sadden Ishita because he has always stood up for her .Outside the house after Ruhi's custody case he stood up for her in front of Ashok .At the time when she got drunk and when she delivered Pj's baby he stood up against Bala's mother for her sake.In the school he proved Shravan had been bullied and made Adi apologise to Ishita also. This time Ishita needs his verbal support immediately .Even if he acts later. But Raman Kumar is equally shocked . And their relationship is not going to slip backwards but will fall to the bottom of the ladder where it never was. Things look really bleak .A cloud has hidden that patch of blue which had emerged in their relationship. A set back which has hit Ishita hard. She was hit when Subu refused her but this hit is much harder. Subu had a reason She could not conceive and his mother's strong objection and his cowardice not to be able to face upto it. Here there is no reason why the family and specially Raman should not instantly support her.Because she is right. Ishita has to prove her innocence. What a terrible sense of disenchantment Ishita must be feeling. I feel she should never talk to Raman .But just as Mrs Bhalla thinks of her daughter Ishita will think of hers and for Ruhi's sake things will right themselves. Right since the time of Sita a woman has to prove herself to keep her position in society. Prove herself in front of who I ask-- a fraternity of males who as a species have got away with the most atrocious misbehaviour towards women from time immemorial. Parmeet and the whole Bhalla family should be brought to their knees. Raman has much to answer for .

I totally agree with the post...Raman made a damage to his relation, The patch will always be there for his whole life , this patch will be bigger and bigger as time goes , He is right to not take any stand from either side BUT still he has to listen to his wife and assure his wife to definitely reach to the bottom of the issue as he can't do anything without Ishita's help. As she is the one who has gone through and She is not in the premises where abuse happened So , to collect the evidence he needs to listen to her. As this is his house who is going to break again as Simmy is standing like a wall with her Hubby.

people are jumping to conclusion way to early here. yes, both toshiji and stupid simmi should be brought down to their knees for humiliating ishita in this manner. however raman should not be put in the same category as them, I believe he is silent because he is taking every step tentatively not because he doubts ishita. Simmi's happiness is at stake here, he cannot make impulsive decisions without solid proof.
