Nidha first of thank you so much for saying the words you did ☺️ I have no words to describe how honoring, humbling and touching that was. Thats really sweet of you to say - the words about my works and about me somehow being the medium that made you write this. As a writer yourself, I am sure you know there is no greater applause than this, for someone to tell you that your work has somehow influenced them in any way 😳 Once again, thank you for those kind and honoring words, I'll forever be indebted for those to you.

And after reading this OS, can I request you to write as and when you can? Really I cannot describe how beautiful that was to read. To have an insight into Raman' heart and head all at once and watching him not only face him demons but emerge victorious against them, that is huge and the way you have executed it, is so wonderful and keeping the essence of Raman intact and in character, I am bowled over.

Often you may find it not an easy thing yourself, while writing - the boundaries to play with. I love reading - books, articles, FF's name it - I try to denote an hour a day at the least to reading and when its FF' I only and naturally read the ones which are about books/movies/shows which I love/like and follow. The thing that I find the most off-putting at times like these is when the writer manages to alter the dimensions of the character so completely that it seems like someone else entirely than the one I find endearing.

To maintain the traits of the character while writing things - to describe the fragility and the strength they have in their minds and hearts - especially when they are faced with a situation like the one Raman does in your OS can only be done by the finest of writers.

Like Nabeela aka Live-life has already said trust is such a important commodity these days and to someone like Raman it is more precious than all the wealth in the world combined because it is the one thing now he refrains from doing - for him to be able to do this trust Ishita - it is the biggest challenge.

The biggest hindrance in IshRa' love story as per me have never been the external factors nor their petty conflicts - they can very well tackle this as shown; Ishita outsmarted Shagun and married Raman anyways once she put her mind to it and the conflicts they had are now mostly about teasing and annoying each other - the one-manupship they have had going forever - its not like it used to be, about dragging each other' pasts and pains out in the open - now neither of them resorts to flinging mud on each other for the heck of it or purposely. Rather they are learning that those insults hurt the other to no extent. And having the reasons they do for being ridiculed and mocked - they are learning that their histories might be different but the pain, the result is almost the same - she doesn't bring up his broken marriage anymore, he doesn't taunt her about her failed love or infertility. that's progress for me on a vital level.

Its their heartbreak and trust/abandonment issues that makes it hard for them to open up to the other... and while Ishita has from the looks of this track placed a humongous amount of trust in Raman as her husband, as a man she knows has always been respectful towards her in the aspect of not ever imposing himself upon her - she is yet to entrust him with her heart, that's a well made progress on her front.

Raman trusting Ishita as his wife...him saying the words Ishita Raman Bhalla is huge, really really huge. Its the one relationship that has shook the very foundations of his being, his nature, his world and his relationships along with his view on the world in general..

And the thing I like the most is, how you have made Mihir this voice of reason to him here - the sounding board without bias which is what Raman needed to sort out his mind when it came to this trouble someone who wouldn't try to influence him in anyway just guide him and that Ruhi... his daughter became the guiding light here for him - he has lost faith in many, but the love for his daughter- the love his daughter has found and received from Ishita, which makes her Ishimaa the center of Ruhi' universe, thats enough for him to trust this woman, somehow he can rely more on his innocent daughter' unadulterated, unbiased heart more than he can on his own or anyone else's.

Bravo Nidha, Bravo 👏👏👏

Love,
Aani

Ps... oops this turned out real long I hope you dont mind it, I have a thing for getting carried away sometimes 😳😆

Very beautifully written, it was short yet it conveyed Raman's turmoil precisely. Trusting Ishita is indeed a leap of faith for him after the betrayals that he has endured in his life. Hats off to you and you should write more of Ishra...

It would be wrong of me to not mention you Aani. Because I am not a regular follower of the show. My knowledge of YHM comes from written updates and then your Fictions. As a reader I admire your skills. As a writer I understand the value of a reader because in all honesty I wouldn't be writing today were it not for them.😳

Honestly this is my reaction☺️

Often you may find it not an easy thing yourself, while writing - the boundaries to play with. I agree that it can be a put off many times. Especially when the character is taken completely out of concept. In my experience what I do mostly is keep the basic character - the one we were introduced to and the one we fell in love with intact and bring in those changes that I think a particular experience or event might give that person. But I guess sometimes we can allow creative liberties like when the character in the show goes completely haywire or we want to build a different image for the character

To maintain the traits of the character while writing things - to describe the fragility and the strength they have in their minds and hearts - especially when they are faced with a situation like the one Raman does in your OS can only be done by the finest of writers. Again☺️

Like Nabeela aka Live-life has already said trust is such a important commodity these days and to someone like Raman it is more precious than all the wealth in the world combined because it is the one thing now he refrains from doing - for him to be able to do this trust Ishita - it is the biggest challenge.
For me Raman and Ishita not trusting each other seems only human. When you have faced a trauma , when you have questioned your own worth , when you couldn't help but feel wronged then you have every right not to trust a single soul ever again. The fact that Raman trusts Mihir in itself is a big thing because honestly he can doubt Mihir too right? Who is to say that Mihir won't cheat? So yes when Raman Kumar Bhalla starts trusting Ishita it's a huge leap.

Well said Aani. IshRa are strong enough to thwart external forces. They are slowly dealing with the inner hurdles. For two broken individuals the baby steps matter. IshRa are taking that.

It will be completely unrealistic and a ruin of a beautiful story if they fall for each other soon. A love that has blossomed through many trials - that will be an epic story in my sight.

Raman trusting Ishita as his wife...him saying the words Ishita Raman Bhalla is huge, really really huge. Its the one relationship that has shook the very foundations of his being, his nature, his world and his relationships along with his view on the world in general..
Actually when I wrote the line I trust you Ishita Raman Bhalla , in my mind I was envisioning all those times that Raman has used that name for her to gloat in front of Ashok, defending her in front of Subbu mother. It sort of seemed the right thing to write. Or maybe the natural thing. But now when I see the way you put it , it opens a whole new dimension and at the right time too. Raman can now trust his wife.

Mihir - the friend , the brother who looks up to Raman. In him I see a person who can be Raman's voice of reason. Mihir has that potential. He may not have the guts to contradict Raman but if you see the way he worked to bring Raman and Ishita for the car tom competition , don't you think he can help Raman where Ishita is concerned.
Ruhi - Raman can safely trust his daughter's feelings. Because unlike Shagun , Ishita never pleased Ruhi with material things. What she gave was pure unadulterated love.

Bravo Nidha, Bravo 👏👏👏
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Aani. When our readers respond with the enthusiasm that they do in dissecting scenes of the show it makes us really happy. It shows that yes we have done something worthwhile. As a writer I think you get this.

Love,
Aani
