Been meaning to say this for a long time but after last nights episode I have to say Bala's characterization in this show is absolutely SUPERB! šš¼He is psuch a mature, sorted and level-headed human being. And he ALWAYS has the right piece of advice for Ishu. I have never seen him become hyper regarding anything, the entire fiasco with Romi, when Ishita shares her troubles - he NEVER loses his cool and tries to deal with the matter with a lot of sensibility. He could hold Romi accountable right at this very moment or even disclose the matter to Ishita but he is so CALM about the whole thing and is handling it extremely well...
Even when he speaks to Ishita, he is completely OBJECTIVE about her problems and I see him trying to reason with her in a mature manner instead of taking her side and making everyone else look like the bad guy. He is so genuinely considerate of her feelings and even validates them but I love how he tries to give her a different perspective on things and how she can best deal with the situation - be it telling her to be patient with Raman, or telling her that the issue between Mihir and Mihika is due to Mihir's inability to take a stand and has nothing to do with Raman or even last night, telling her that even though she claimed to be ONLY Ruhi's mother, she has now accepted the Bhalla family and connected to all of them with her heart. There is sooo much SENSE in everything he says and I love how he is slowly helping Ishita realize the things she cannot see for herself. He surpasses his relationship with Ishu of just being a brother-in-law because he is so much more in so many different ways - a brother, a friend, a confidant, a therapist, a teacher, and above all, a genuine well wisher š. It really warms my heart!!!!
His entire DEMEANOR is always so calm and composed. His voice modulation, body posture, thought process, everything he says, is just so admirable and so in sync with the kind of character he is. And I even loved the way he talked about Vandu and the sparkle in her eyes regarding the gold chain, there is such a GENUINE look of love in his eyes...ā¤ļøIt has been long since I've liked a character in a show so very much. If only all men in this world could be that genuine, mature and absolutely exceptional (Sigh!)
Good on the writers, I love the way they have written Bala's character šš¼The actor playing the role is doing a fantastic job and fits the role to the T. And I just wish Bala continues to be this way for the entire course of this show because between all the Bhalla vs Iyer vs ShagunAshok madness, there needs to be someone who can bring sanity...šš
