Chapter - 2

He flipped the pages of his file aimlessly ...without even sparing a single glance over them .. He checked the time and the restless expression on his face changed into a frown .The restlessness was taking over his entire persona..He was frequently changing positions on his chair .

Why do I feel so fidgety today..he asked himself...

It has been an eventful day ...They had a pooja at home..He was not in mood to celebrate any kind of festival as he lost the land contract just because of her..He insulted her in front of all his family members for acting so absurd and causing such a huge loss in his business. Her move might have proved to be career destroying for him. But...it was not meant to be that day. He was supposedly God's favorite comic character and she was his most favored protagonist. After all the ruthless words and insults caused by him to her ,almighty decided to show him the mirror of reality. It was her "6^th sense " or "gut feeling " which saved him from the huge loss and embarrassment in front of his clients. All those downward curves on their faces changed into upward ones.His family and office team were grateful to her for saving him.They forced him to say a thanks to her and show proper gratitude .But he chose to act as Raman Kumar Bhalla - the arrogant ,emotionless Businessman ;which was his pretension to save his fragile heart from the ruthless outer world.He was grateful to her,but he chose silence over voicing out his feelings. He neither wanted feel vulnerable in front of her nor he wanted to listen to her lecture.So he walked out of his house with Mihir with a straight face and left for office.

His day in office was not smooth..not that he was facing any challenges from client's front...Clients were content with his decision or her unexpected move which saves their organization from huge loss. Due to festive season the day was going quite laggard .He was not his regular self today.Raman Kumar Bhalla,the workaholic ..who couldn't stay away from his contract papers and files even on his marriage day looked uninterested in those cold files and documents.His heart craved for some warmth.

Raman..

Haan kya hua ...he said irritatedly

Tum yeh gol gol ghumna band karoge...mujhe chakkar aa rahe he...

He looked at Mihir's befuddled face and realized that he have been roaming around his cabin in circles for quite sometime now.He stopped walking at once.

Tum thik toh ho na Raman...tabiyat toh thik hai na tumhari?

Itne restless kyu ho?

Tabiyat kharab hai kya ?

Mihir threw his rapid fire questions on him...

Uff ...chup ho ja Mihir...saans le le...meri pagal Biwi ki tarah behave mat kar...he voiced his annoyance .

Acha baba...lo me chup ho gaya...but tumhe hua kya hai...Mihir threw another question at him...after all he could see his plan with Mihika to get this odd couple close to each other was showing colors lately...

Tum bahut restless lag rahe ho...jaise ki kisi chij ke liye intezar kar rahe ho...Mihir continued ...

Arre yaar.. itna time ho gaya...Jhansi ki Rani ne aaj ek baar bhi call nehi kiya... roz toh har 10 minute main call kar kar ke dimag kharab kar deti hai...aaj pata nehi use kya hua...ek bhi call nehi kiya ab tak...Raman blurted in a single breath...he didn't even register his exact statement..his gaze never left the mobile screen.

Oh toh tum...Bhabhi ke call ka wait kar rahe ho...Mihir chuckled looking at his elder brother's impatience...

Haan yaar...Raman said ..still lost in his internal hassles ...about her

Waoh...Bhabhi ke call ka wait...interesting ...Mihir said in a teasing and slightly louder tone...

Raman came out of his imaginary world with his Rani of Jhansi ..Did he just confessed in front of Mihir that he is waiting for her call..oh NO..its Not happening..he can't voice out his confusions and feelings about that crazy women like this...he will become a laughingstock in front of people...Mihir and Simi will start teasing him...and she will have a hearty laughter at his expense ...No..This can't be happening...

Jyada dimag mat chala...he said annoyingly ...wo Ruhi ka kuch saman lana tha...wo call karke uski list dene wali thi.. he tried to give explanation for his mindless blabbering..

Oh..acha...Mihir replied with an evil smirk while amusingly looking at his soul brother...a father of two kids ...a respected businessman...whom the world calls merciless and chesty ...he looked nothing less than a baffled teenager trying to hide his first crush...

Par Raman...isse pehle kabhi Ishita Bhabhi ke call ka wait toh nehi kiya tumne...even if its about Ruhi...he played along...

Wo...main...wo...Raman was dumbfounded...how could he reply to this question when he himself is not able to find the answer...

His phone rang to his rescue...Jhansi ki Rani..his Jhansi kis Rani...the name flashed on his mobile screen...

He immediately answered the call...

Hello ...he changed his tone to a serious one to hide his eagerness in his voice..

Hello Raman..she started

Haan jaldi bolo...mujhe bahut kaam hai...he said in an irritated tone...

Haan toh mujhe bhi koi shauk nehi hai tumse baat karne ka...main bhi bahut busy hu...she replied with equal bitterness in her voice...

Haan haan...Obama ke saath lunch ka program hoga na...he taunted

Tumse toh baat hi karna bekar hai...she was getting irritated by his arrogance and mood swings...

Toh mene kab bola mujhse baat karne ke liye ...he continued

Ruhi ke saman ka list me sms kar rahi hu...le aana..bhulna mat...she said in stern tone

Oh hello Madam ..main kuch nehi bhulta...bhulti tum ho...he retorted

Offo...mere paas zara sa bhi time nehi hai tumse jhagda karne ka...aaj bahut kaam hai..late ho jaega aate aate..she said in a tired tone...

Oh main toh Madam se baat karne ke liye mara ja raha hu...Mere paas bhi bahut...

Before he could complete his statement ...The line on the other end went silent ...she hung up on him...how dare she...khud ko samajhti kya hai...he muttered under his breath...cursing her
