Aani I personally feel he is much aware of his wife's beauty just that her beauty doesnt manifest as attraction within him bcoz of his past. Just like when someone has been in love and also been ditched, then "physical attraction/liking" can just not be enough for the next relationship.You need more to move you.Something you have not yet found. For Raman I feel her beauty is just a fact just like shagun's beauty is a fact. Its only when he sees she is not just beautiful externally but internally as well (which he never found in shagun), I see ripples generating within him and they really affect him a lot!
