Hope

Part 1:

All the members in the house were so busy in the celebrations of Ruhi's birthday. Toshiji was searching for Ruhi all over the house.

Toshiji: Ruhi!!...Ruhi!!...Ruhi!!

Kahan gayi ye beti. Kab se doond rahee hoon. Ruhi, kahan ho tum?

Yeh Ballahji bhi ghar par nahin hai. Kya karron mein...Ruhi beta, jaldi, thodi dher mein party shuru ho jayega...kahan ho tum?

(without any lights in the room, Ruhi was sitting alone in a corner.)

Toshiji: So you are here! I was searching for you for the past half an hour. Come soon, get ready, party is going to start...

(Toshiji switches on the light of the store room)

Ruhi: How many times should I tell you? I don't want any celebration. The most hateful day in my entire life is my birthday. Please leave me alone, dadi!

Toshiji: it's already been ten years, what to do? It all happened, now you have to live your life.

Ruhi: Dadi, please how can you say this? Don't you know the reason, why am I saying this? Please dadi!!

Toshiji: But,listen...

Ruhi: Dadi, please leave me alone.

(Toshiji leaves the room. Ruhi opens the cupboard and takes a diary. She sees a picture of her father and mother. She starts to read it. While reading it, she starts weeping and keeps the diary back in the cupboard.)

Ruhi: Papa!!!Ishi maa!!!Why you both left me alone? I miss you both...I love you...

(everyone in the family comes into the room and takes Ruhi along with them. With the compulsion of everyone she cuts the cake. Everybody feels so happy but Ruhi goes silently into her room)

(Next day morning Ruhi goes to school, spends the whole day and gets into the bus. Her stop comes. She gets down from the bus.)

Ruhi: (after getting down...she walks a little distance...sees around)

What is this? I think I got down in the next stop.

(She sees the sign board, it shows the correct stop.)

Ruhi: What happened? I am in the right place but it's so different...

(she sees a car in front of her. She sees Ishitha driving inside the car. )

Ruhi: Ishi maa???

ISHI MAA!!ISHI MAA!!!ISHI MAA!!!

Part 3:

Ruhi: 1998? But how is it possible?

(She rushes to the table and sees the newspaper(it has the date of 15^th march 1998) she thinks for a moment)

Ruhi: So I came 15 years back...why?

(she sits in the sofa and thinks for a moment. Toshiji comes near the sofa to sit in it. Ruhi gets up from the sofa. A pillow drops from it.)

Toshiji: Yeh bhi?(takes the pillow and keeps it on the sofa) Ballaji...

(Ruhi goes out of the house and starts walking some distance...)

Ruhi: So, I came 15 years back. There should be a reason...(something strikes her), right...now papa and mamma is not yet married.

So this is a chance for me to stop them from getting married so that the accident won't happen. But what should I do for that?

(She sees Raman and Mihr returning home. She follows them to home after seeing them. They reaches the home, gets down from the car.)

Raman: (in tension)How can you forget such an important document?

Mihr: Sorry Bhai!! Just two mins...we will go to your room...

(Raman stares at him. Mihr turns his head around to avoid his eyes)

Ruhi: Papa is tensed even at that time too(in past)(she laughs)

Toshiji: Kya hua beta?You forgot anything?

Ballaji: Raman, I and your mother has something to say to you...

Raman: Papa, please...

(He goes to his room in a tensed state, searches for the document and gets out from there in hurry . Toshiji stops him by stretching her hands to oppose him.)

Raman: Maa!!!

Toshiji: Listen to your papa...Actually we planned to get marry ...

Raman: What?

Toshiji: Sorry...we have seen a girl for you to get married...

Raman: Maa!! Is this the time to discuss this matter? By the way I have told you many times that I will marry a girl whom I like...

(Saying this he gets out of the house)

Toshiji: Aur ek baar fail ho gayi mein!!!!!!

(she starts weeping fakely by just making noise)

(Ruhi follows Raman and Mihr, gets into the car with them.)

Raman: Mihr!! Fast!! We don't have time...

Mihr: ok...(he starts the car)

(they are waiting in signal in the road)

(Suddenly something is remembered to Ruhi)

Ruhi: Today is 15^th march...this is the first day mamma and papa met for the first time...I should not let them to meet each other...

(she remembers the lines written in Ishitha's diary(that she met Raman near her clinic in 15^th march 1998))

I should somehow stop the meeting of my parents...(she thoughts of a plan)

Ruhi: I will just make them(Raman and Mihr) to go somewhere else(opposite to the direction of her clinic)...

(so she turns the indicator that is opposite to the clinic's direction(its in the left side to the road) so that Mihr will turn his car to the right...but unfornately he turned left...Ishitha's car was behind his car. Seeing the right signal of the indicator she turned her car to the left... Both the car gets crashed...)

Ishitha: (gets angry and comes out of the car) Hey!!! Idiot? Kisne license diya tumhein?

(Hearing this Raman gets out of the car. )

He sees Ishitha and she too sees him. Ruhi is shocked that their parents met each other, even though she tried for that not to happen.

Part 4:

Ishitha and Raman see each other, stops and stare for a moment and started fighting.

Ishitha: Do you even know to drive a car? Or just gave money to get license...

Raman: Hey, watch your mouth!! How dare you...

(Mihr interrupts them by showing his hand wide...)

Mihr: Oh please... sorry mam it was my mistake...

Raman: Mihr, tu ne isse kyon mafi maang rahe ho?

Mihr: Bhai, please!!

Ishitha: Bhai??? See your brother(referring Mihr) have some sense...but you I will see this in court...

(saying this she left the place)

Mihr: Mam, mam ,please...

Raman: Hey chod na yaar...Is she a women or some gunde... See how she is quarreling in the middle of the road

Oh ...(sees the watch) because of that gunde, I missed my meeting...chalo, late ho gaya...

(Ruhi sees everything and feels sorry for not stopping them from meeting each other.)

(in clinic)

Ishitha: That Raavan... He spoiled my mood today...wait , I will see him in court.

(receptionist knocks the door and informs her that someone is waiting for her.)

Mihr: Excuse me , mam...

Ishitha: Tum...sorry... aap...yahan ?

Mihr: Sorry mam...actually my brother...

Ishita: (with anger)that RAAVAN...ok why you came here?

Mihr: You said that you will see us in court... Please mam we will settle this matter...within ourselves...

(she thinks for some moment and says ok to him.)

(in Raman's office)

(Ruhi is watching Raman without moving her eyes)

Raman: That gunde...yeh Mihr be naa...why he went there?

(Mihr enters the office)

Raman: Kya kiya wo gunde? Maana ya nahin?

Mihr: (with some hesitation) Haan bhai...par...

Raman: Kya?

Mihr: Bhai, she told you to settle this matter, so you have to go to her clinic.

Raman: Kya ...mein? How dare that gunde...wait I will see her today...

(he goes to her clinic with so much of anger. Ruhi follows Raman to Ishita's clinic. Without knocking the door, he enters her room.)

Raman: (smashes the door harshly) Hey you...

(Ishita turns to him wearing a mask. Raman is shocked and gets fear that she is going to do something.)

Raman: Hey...don't come near me...you will kill me for this?

Ishita: (laughs at him) Raavan ko bhi dar aatha hai...(again laughs at him)...Actually I am a doctor

(Hearing this Raman too laughs. They settle the car issue in a friendly manner.)

Ruhi: (sees the friendly atmosphere between them) yeh kya ho gaya? Again it happened like what Ishitha mamma wrote in her diary...(gives a shock expression)
