First, as youve already said, yes, this is a TV show, it would be great if we stop relating it to real life... because we dont do it with any other shows... we dont do it with American shows which can get away with unrealistic outer space stuff like Vampires, dragons, monsters, superhuman creatures... so i think we at times become harsh on our desi shows, even though its funny to not point out their faults or laugh at the riot 😉
I agree with your topic though ^^ this had nothing to do with this particular topic... was just pointing out generally. Other than that, yes, Ishita does deserve the long-deserving respect, BUT, till now, nothing has gone terribly wrong, im sorry, but in real life, youre way more realistic, divorces happen really easily in shows... not in real life... so in real life you tend to face wayy more harsher situations, especially when your husband doesnt want you, and your in-laws have not completely accepted you. Here, Ishita, honestly speaking is only a liability for the Bhallas, apart from the good bhallas... you know who they are... Like Mr Bhalla, Romy and Rinki... whereas RAMAN, TOSHI JI, SIMMI are all, tolerating her. They dont like her. Its as simple as that, but they know that theyre gonna have to deal with her... for the sake of their child, Ruhi.
It will take time for Ishita to carve a niche for herself, and she, sooner than later WILL get the much awaited respect... but provided, she doesnt ruin it herself... which, i think... she is going to... since shes being such a 'detective' in Simmi's case. And, okay fine, BE the detective, out of ALL the people she could tell this to... she tells this to Toshi ji... LIKE REALLY? Like i mean come on, i think Raman trusts her more than Toshi ji does, and honestly, if Raman wouldve taunted her after she let him know, i would have been okay, understood, not hated it, but Toshi ji scolding and taunting her... i just hate it, because Toshi ji is genuinely getting on my nerves.
Ishita could have even talked to Mihir who would have personally looked into the matter. Talked to Mihika.. MR. BHALLA... ANYONE but TOSHI!? -_- ab HOW is Toshi ji EVER gonna be able to like her, even when she comes to know that Simmi was at fault? Obviously she will have "the" soft corner for her daughter, yeah?
So, the day Ishita stops doing this, and does lil things like shes been doing for the past few days... she will slowly, yet steadily... make home in the hearts of Bhallas... real soon :)

Well respect your opinion

Now coming about telling to mrs bhalla well I think this a trigger to keep quiet and don't reveal the truth when she discovers actual mumbo jumbo that is happening and 3 am scene happens

It's been what? 20 days since Ishita and Raman got married? People will take time accepting a new person into the family. And it has never been easy between the Bhallas and Iyers. Raman and Toshiji are prejudiced. They have decided the type of person Ishita is. Interfering, judgemental and ill mannered. In such a situation they will be taunting her every time they get a chance. I agree, it is the responsibility of the family members to make her feel welcome. But if they already did that, we wouldn't have a story, would we? Anyways, it is only Raman and Toshiji who are like that. The rest of the family has accepted her.

but so what if they keep calling her madrasi/madraasan? she doesnt even have a problem with that
Mrs Iyer also keeps saying "PAANJABII" in the annoying overdone accent... and in a -ve way, like not praising them... so its okay, i guess? i find it cute and funny actually, when Raman calls her Madraasan... or even jhansi ki rani for that matter 😳

welliknow she does not mind it but in north India it is not spoken in a fond way thats why if you see when he is annoyed or to prove a point he calls her madrasan but when he is in better mood calls her jkr

Yeah. I too wish they'd stop the 'madrasan' chant. Ishita is a very tolerating and mature person. I wouldn't have been so patient with them. But, like I said, that is the story.
