i Came back to forum after almost two months , guess a lot has happened 🤔
Coming to the topic, they are the kind of people who don't realize a certain amount of commitment is important for good education, but they obviously want their kids ( read Ruhi ) to do good in school.

Mrs Bhalla is not a bad mother and I am sure her kids went to school regularly... It's just that she is feeling insecure now that Ruhi turns to Ishita for all her needs and not to her Dadi. Giving Ruhi a day off overruling Ishita's word was just a way to get one up on Ishita and seek Ruhi's attention 😆

Yes in a way you are right. The bhallas really arent classy ppl.Thats what any educated and sophisticated individual will think about them. But to be honest Mrs Bhalla is hell realistic.Being a delhite I so know this kinda atiitude and have seen a whole lot of neighbours like that.Such women probably cant digest their food without taunting their DILs but in front of the world they defend them like a mother. And i am sure mrs bhalla too will do the same very soon. Let Ishu win her confidence once then she herself will say that what my DIL says is the most correct thing. So she is one person i always remain positive abt.

When I was Ruhi's age , I have bunked school with help from my grandmothers . ( I will not call them uneducated or crazy ) This is not about Mrs Bhalla vs Mrs Iyer or Punjabi vs South Indian ,educated vs uneducated , crazy vs sane .This is about grandma . A grandmother is a safe haven for every grandchild .When grandma is around ,every grandchild gets away with a murder . I remember thinking that my grandmother was a partner in crime and we were best friends because we had commen enemy " Mother "now this is funny but true . I am sure Mrs Iyer will do similar thing if shrawan wants to bunk school for a day . .This doesn't make any grand mother " bad" Ruhi's problems are psychological . I feel that Mr and Mrs Bhalla have unconditional love for Ruhi otherwise everyone else has vested interest .
Unfortunately writers are not fair . They have to sale the show but audience should have better judgement not not to blame grandmother for Ruhis's kindergarten failures .
She is a victim of unfortunate circumstance .when these post are written about " pride n prejudice "one needs to think about our own prejudice .

I don't agree with Mrs. Bhallas atttitude towards Ishita but it is very realistic. From what we've been shown, she has raised Ruhi like her own daughter all these years and now she has Ishita stepping in and suddenly taking up that role. It is very human to feel insecure in this situation. It doesen't help that the CV's have Ruhi start the Ishima chant everytime either- I mean I understand her bond with Ishita but it seems like all the care and love she received from her grandparents for all those years meant nothing to her. The Ishita-Ruhi connection/bond comes across looking very contrived.
Also since most of the drama will now be taking place in the Bhalla household and will carry the story forward, this can't happen if all the characters in the Bhalla household are bland and picture perfect...unfortunately that doesen't move a story forward 😆
