Well Ishita is someine who is obsessed with the thought of having a child and knew she couldn't so now that she has Ruhi, she cannot think about anything else but Ruhi. Plus the circumstances of her marriage are different... there is nothing else to look foward too for her at this point in the relationship...all she has is her motherhood. Divya is playing the role perfectly according to me...

i never feel divyanka or ishita does overacting, 😒 with ruhi scenes i find divyanka as cute😃.no OTT. n i loved her fight scenes with raman😊. both karan n divyanka are awesome actors n doing excellent job in YHM👍🏼..

This is a woman who has longed for a child for a very very long time. She was always rejected by adoption agencies etc. The reason it looks OTT is because Ruhi appears too old for the affection Ishita showers on her. This being said, Ishita never had the chance to be with her from a young age, she doesn't know anything about parenting and she hasn't been through the process. It isn't out of place. Ruhi never received a mother's love, and Ishita never raised a child...

To each his own.I for one started watching this show after randomly coming across a Ishita-Ruhi scene and to this day if I follow the show then its purely because of the female lead' portrayal of the character to perfection!The character Raman gets on my nerves and it seems as if random shades and qualities(often contradicting each other) are knitted together to form ds character.Ishita has often been bashed for being too preachy n opininonated,but atleast dr has been a constancy in the character unlike Raman whose eyes fill up with tears today while staring at his daughter and the next day he gets a random child to the house as his daughter.
