I know coming to conclusions before we see the actual epi isnt the right thing but had Ruhi been at Ashok's home and Ashok had done this to Ruhi had we forgiven him? When Ruhi was living at Ashok's home for him too Ruhi was his enemy's daughter but he never abused her.Yes he scolded her a few times or was cold to her but did Ashok ever hit ruhi? Ever pushed her? Ever hurt her in drunken state? Then how am i expected to forgive Raman for doing this?

A quick message to ekta maiyya - U still hv time to edit this particular scene if u rly can...bcoz honestly i cant tolerate the hero of a show pushing a 5 year old girl in a drunk state and then when he comes to know that she's his daughter he wud probably shed 2 tears and apologize...soryy this is not acceptable! I wont have forgiven even Ashok for this...Raman is a far off thing!!

Yes it can be edited or changed it would not have been better in his drunk state to tell Ishita what Ashok said...
See how, in only one SBS segment Ashok the antagonist of the show raised and found a better place than Raman because here Ruhi a little child is involved.

Yeah, nobody would forgive Ashok if he did it. So then why should we be softer towards Raman? I'm sure that the CVs won't glorify his abuse so I'm not too disturbed by what they're showing, however I am disturbed by the negative portrayal of his character. It'll be hard for him to be redeemed in mine and probably a lot of other people's eyes.

When he had cornered Ishita that time when he was drunk, he never apologized to her, nor did we see Ishita giving it back to him for manhandling her after that night. More than anything, it was romanticized that time. That's what I hate. When TV serials romanticize abuse.

That left a negative mark on Raman's character too, and this just made the mark darker. How he will redeem himself now is to be seen.

I doubt it will be edited out because in nearly all of Ekta's shows, one of the male leads has an aggressive side to him (sometimes even slapping the female lead), and it doesn't even get questioned.

Ahh :( How can I forget that...Ekta did the same with Sujal...he was such a brilliant and amazing character but he was spoiled many times sply when he slapped his wife. But Raman has gone one step furher by abusing his daughter. C'mom shes a kid.

Exactly...even when ashok was toking to ruhi outside cout n manipulating her...i found tht scene kinda cute. The way ashok was trying so hard to explain the lil girl he not even for once tried to scare her or threaten her...he just told her a lie. In tht way he never mis behaved with ruhi.Would raman forgive it if ashok did it to ruhi in his absence?

Mr. Bajaj slapped Prerna and Prem slapped Mukti in KZK. In KDMHMD Prem slapped Heer too.

Yeah, Raman's act is really unforgivable, and so is his reason. It isn't like Ruhi can control whose blood runs in her veins...

I agree Malika, i wouldn't have liked it if Ashok had done what CVs are making Raman do 🤢 So far CVs have showed Ashok as a manipulative villain but never an abuser. Showing Raman drunk and misbehave is totally degrading his character 🤔 Even if he apologies later or cries buckets its not enough IMO 😳

Crying or apologizing wont make any difference to me as well. I understand he's disturbed and not able to think rationally but that cud have been shown in other ways also like he not talking to ruhi or being cold to her. There was no need of this pushing drama. And this really degrades Raman's character because it shows that for him ruhi is imp only bcoz she is his blood...else he has no love no emotions no feelings for the li'l kid.

If you have noticed it Ashok has a better, soft way of talking with Ruhi... He's not his father so sometime he was rude but raman being the father never hugs her or pamper her nothing Romi also is better than Raman...with Ruhi...

I totally agree with you Malika. If Ashok has done so we couldn't forgive him than why Raman .
Plz Cvs don't degrade his Character..When he raised his hand on Ishita and stopped by the other guy, they messed with his character. If can't win by verbal than haath uthauge kya??? He didn't apologise for that nor for the misbehave with Ishita on Drunk state..
Cvs would have shown that in better way than that...let's see what happen in the episode ...
