Why then does Ishita believe her without hearing the other side?

Ishita's impression of Raman is a really bad.. so much so that she actually believed that he hurt his son enough to send him to hospital. And what's more she does not want to listen to Raman's side of the story. She now thinks that she has to marry Raman to protect Ruhi from his anger.

Seriously, Raman was right. Why doesn't Ishita want to listen to what Raman has to say? I find it really odd.

Ishita has seen for herself what a negligent mother Shagun is.. she has noted that Ruhi is left with servants most of the time when Shagun is off doing her own thing. And she knows that Shagun will be packing Ruhi off to a hostel as soon as possible.

Why then does Ishita believe her without hearing the other side?

I agree. That's there. But, she doesnt think Shagun is a 'bad' woman. She knows that its Shagun's majboori because she wants to give a name to her relationship with Ashok. An identity.

She i cant say is a feminist... but she will for sure support a woman over a man... in cases where it is not evident. Also, her personal experiences with Raman havent been really good. She doesnt consider him to be considerate, lethal, loyal, good... and all that, whereas, shes always had a nice friendly relationship with Shagun... so yeah! :)

I guess that's why. And somewhere or the other im sure she knows that Raman isnt as bad as portrayed... we'll see how she explores her spouse in the upcoming episodes :)

Right ... this bugs me too ...

But ...on the other hand, she has always seen Raman in bad light ... and Shagun was always goody-goody and acting like the victim in front of her ... in most case it's easier to believe the woman is the victim ...

Waiting for Ishu to find out what a gem her hubby is ... or rather was ... before Shagun messed up his life !
