The interesting and drama-filled Madrasi-Punjabi wedding of Ishita Iyer (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman Bhalla (Karan Patel) is finally over in Balaji Telefilms' Ye Hai Mohabbatein on Star Plus.
And now the track will head to the most important turning point - the custody case of little Ruhi (Ruhaanika Dhawan). Well, the recently airing promo does suggest about the twist in the tale, when even after coming together with the sacred bond of marriage, Raman and Ishita will lose everything with Ruhi choosing Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) as her custodian in the court.
Well, what will make the otherwise happy Ruhi to change her mind and choose to be with Shagun? Who will play the foul game here?

A source tells us that the very important court room drama is being shot today. Viewers will get to see a great deal of drama with tables turning every now and then!!
To begin with, Shagun and Ashok (Sangram Singh) will be in for a major shock when they will see Ishita entering the court in her new avatar, with sindoor and mangalsutra. They will be stunned to know that Ishita did go ahead and marry Raman, even after all their attempts to stop the marriage. With this, the first small victory will be Raman and Ishita's!!
So what will happen next? Well, we have got to know that the foul play will be done by the scheming mind of Ashok here!! Ruhi will be all happy just before entering the court room. But things will change dramatically soon after Ruhi and Ashok will go out for few minutes. Ruhi will want to use the washroom, and this will be when Ashok will take her out. And on coming back, Ruhi will be all teary-eyed and sad. She will have a puzzled look on her face, and this will be when viewers will get to know that Ashok has played his dirty game!!
Soon after this, the judge will call for Ruhi to come to the witness box and tell them the name of the person she will want to be with. While all in the Iyer and Bhalla family will be very hopeful of Ruhi taking the name of Ishita, Ruhi will tell the judge that she would want to be with her mumma. This will make Ishita and Raman happy for a second, but the lines uttered by Ruhi later on, will shake them from within.. Ruhi will choose to be with her mumma, that is Shagun mumma.
There will be a complete silence in the court when Ruhi will take the name of Shagun. While Shagun will be surprised to hear this, Ashok will be seen giving his cunning smile. Raman and Ishita will not know how to react.
So does this mean that Ruhi will have to stay with Shagun? Have Raman and Ishita lost Ruhi's custody forever? What is it that Ashok has done to change Ruhi's mind?
