This is just my imagination on what might happen in the hotel suite...
Ishita couldn't believe her eyes. Did Raman really think that she would agree to this especially after she had specifically said that she married him only for Ruhi and by the way, didn't he say the same thing? Did he end up changing his mind? Ishita thought furiously.
"Arre, you are here, all dressed up I see, anyways, did the hotel attendant come, I asked him to bring something for me," Raman asked.
How dare he? Ishita thought as she turned around and Raman standing in the hallway half naked with his shirt in his hand. She immediately turned back around thinking the worst.
"What the hell do you think of yourself, Mr. Raman Kumar Bhalla? I made it very clear that this marriage was only happening for Ruhi...did you forget that already??? How in the world did you think I would agree to this? You need to answer..."Ishita trailed off as she heard Raman running back into the bathroom. "You can't run away like this Mr. Raman Kumar?" Ishita said as she went after him and stood in front of the bathroom door.
"What is your problem? And what are you talking about? Did the hotel attendant bring what I wanted? I can't take this any longer." Raman shouted.
Ishita grew even more furious. Just as she was about to say something Raman stepped out of the bathroom and glanced at the packet in her hand.
"Good, my medicines are here. Now I can be in peace. God knows what you guys mixed in your food this morning..."Raman said and snatched the packet out of her hands.
"Medicines??? Has this guy gone mad?" Ishita thought to herself when the doorbell rang again. As she went to get the door she heard Raman swearing behind her.
"Here are the medicines that sir asked for," the hotel attendant said handing her some medications. Ishita glanced at the medications and realized that they were for indigestion and that this was what Raman was talking about. But it still didn't explain the "other"packet.
"Here are your medications," Ishita said handing it to him along with a glass of water.
"Ishita, I don't know how this..." Raman tried explaining when his phone started ringing.
"Hello brother, how are things going? All fine?? Did you get the gift I sent with Ishita's things?" Simmi asked on the other end.
"Don't you have any other work to do?" Raman shouted at his sister.
"I was only trying to help you, why are you shouting at me for that. You guys never appreciate me for the things I do," Simmi started crying.
"I'll talk to you about this tomorrow," Raman said and hung up the phone. He turned around and saw Ishita staring at him.
"Woh...Simmi..." Raman tried explaining.
"I understand, you take your medicines, and make sure you drink a lot of water so that you don't get dehydrated. Also, if you need any help, let me know. I'm going to go and change." Ishita said with a slight smile.
A few moments later...
Raman and Ishita stood on either side of the bed and looked at each other.
"I will sleep on the couch, why don't you sleep on the bed," Raman offered.
"No, you are not feeling well and need to rest. You can sleep here and I will sleep on the couch. It's not a problem," Ishita said and walked towards the tiny couch by the window.
Raman looked at Ishita as she tried making herself comfortable. Just as she sat on the couch, one of the legs on the couch broke and Ishita fell on the floor. Raman immediately rushed to her side to make sure that she was ok.
"I'm ok Mr. Raman Kumar, and don't worry I can sleep on the floor as well," Ishita said feeling slightly uncomfortable with the care that Raman was showing her.
"No, you can sleep on the bed, its big enough for the both of us, and don't worry I won't do anything to you," he said as he saw Ishita frowning. "Plus, we need to be well rested for tomorrow's court hearing and sleeping on the floor is not going to do it. For Ruhi's sake," Raman said.
How could Ishita refuse after Raman took Ruhi's name. They awkwardly slept on opposite sides of the bed staring into space eagerly awaiting the next dawn when all of this would be worth it.
