I was unaware of this ritual Thanks CV to give this knowledge .

I am from North India and we have a ritual somewhat same but in this ritual Dadi(Grandma) told the Groom that if you didn't go for marriage I'll jump in the Well ... This ritual happened in my cousin brothers marriage It was really fun to attend ...

If anyone also have same sort of Ritual Pl. share I love to know about the rituals all over in India.
