I know she loves her daughter and want to see her settled in her life.But they way she want to share the news about Ishita engagement to Mrs.Bhalla and also Subu's mom .I feel she think Ishita as a some prized possession that she want's to flaunt it .Some time I feel she do things just to show to Mrs.Bhalla . Even when Raman truth was out.That time also she said I want to show to that Punjabi's .She does things in over-excitement just to show to others. I agree that as a mom she want a well settled guy for her daughter.But that alone should not be the priority.When she spoke about Prateek also first she said he is a NRI and then only said he is good guy.Ishita mom character annoys me with her OT acting .

She is an over exciting character... but Im in lovin with Mrs.iyer n Mrs.Balla's fight 🤣

so I dont mind what kind of men (well to do) she is looking for her Ishu's life partner.. all parents specially moms r specialist at this subject

Very OTT I agree but I like her ... Mrs Iyer's character reminds me of Mrs Bennett from Pride and Prejudice.

They have made the character extra OTT which is affecting the inherent humour.

It should be toned down a little.

You do have a valid point Vimal.

Mrs. Iyer is over zealous in her quest to find a husband for her daughter and maybe her method is over the top but she does mean well and her desperation is genuine.
