I know about Jack fruit. Love it. We call it phanas. Very rarely we get fresh one herewith. Seen the segments available in tins but taste not same.

well we are able to buy it fresh and sometimes we get the segments frozen - most times I buy frozen - its steamed a little first and then frozen so I get that it cooks faster
