I know that Visha has already opened up a topic with the rules to follow. But I feel it necessary to open one up again after a lot of PMs.
The DT of this section is trying their best to keep this forum user friendly, which means absolutely NO FIGHTS amongst the cast and crew & the fans. Clearly we are not doing our part enough as the fan wars continue.
Since no one on the DT has the authority to lock/close threads except our channel mod (Ravjot) it is hard for the rest of us to close/lock threads without contacting Ravjot first. However, I am in constant touch with her and will get any thread closed/locked if it gets out of control.
Please keep in mind that this show has various characters/couples and that each member will be a fan of their choice. Everyone has their own opinions and thoughts. You are free to express your opinions in a manner that does not bash any other forum member or any other cast of the show. That is against IF rules of conduct and from no onwards will not be tolerated. I think we have warned you all enough! If anyone feels they are being bashed or their favorite couple/star cast is being bashed just send me a PM and a warning level will be raised if deemed necessary. There is no need to create unnecessary fan wars between Iqbal Khan fans vs. Raj/Lata fans vs. Karan/Abha fans. At the end of the day all of these people are part of the same show which has brought most of us together in the first place.
As far as constructive criticism is concerned, if a thread is opened up for discussion DO expect that members will come in with their view points which may not match yours! Constructive criticism is allowed as long as it doesn't bash any celeb or member. Remember that constructive criticism always makes a celeb better. No one is perfect. Viren, Raj, Lata, Karan, Abha...All of them have their flaws. If you can't take in the negativity then you're not a true fan! So many people bash Shahrukh & Rani (my favorites), but they have their reasons sometimes. And if Shahrukh or Rani are wrong in their real life thoughts OR REEL life scenarios then I will NOT defend them by any means. Same goes for the cast of YMGGK. If their actions are wrong, they will be criticized. That does not mean that they are "bad" in REAL life. Please don't get confused with the REEL life VS. the REAL life. All these actors play the role they are told to play. Sometimes what they do on the show will be very wrong for us viewers and there is nothing wrong in pointing that out!!!! What's wrong is wrong!
Celebrity appreciation threads are created to talk about your favorite couple or star cast. No bashing in the AT's are allowed. Once again constructive criticism from a fan that is not a hardcore fan is allowed. But no bashing of any sort is permitted.
Guys please work with us DT to make this forum a friendly place. I hate seeing these fan wars/fights! We are better than that.
