I also cannot understand how dev reached their bedroom. Raj went different direction to get to his room, where as dev went to the door next to the entrance door and still landed in LAAJ's room.

My POV

I have a feeling that CV's have come to a conclusion that by introducing new jodi, they will have to give justice to LAAJ also so we have a very brief appearance of LAAJ to keep their fans happy. That might be the reason for the new montage with 3 jodis.
