Raj's birthday gift from Lata - there is still a nagging doubt that the photo has been swapped. Karan said to Raj Lata had a special gift for him. How did he know this? The only reason I can think is that we did not see the photo Lata put under the pillow. I think Lata got this photo from Karan which might be from the wedding anniversay celebration where all them are together as family and this is photo she had it enlarged. That is why Karan knew that Lata had a special gift for Raj.
Daaima has jumped the gun and done her normal trick by having the childhood photo enlarged and wrapped in the same colour cloth as the one Lata has her done. That is why she said she in her mind that she cannot prevent raj attending the party but will cause tamasha.
