The only hope here is Raj and if doesn't find the truth and lata gets married to Dev...I might not be motivated to watch this serial after that!!

Yes, exactly how I feel. :)
And what you said about not developing the characters is also quite true. If the characters were developed more, the need for event drama would be decreased because of the exploration into the character; take for example Koyal. At this stage she is clearly mentally ill because no sane person can create the havoc she has. Now, if they would explore that, not just have her vanish from the soap, it would bring to the audience the subject of mental illness and what it does to people. In fact there was a very interesting movie made by the Indian Film Industry called "Raat aur Din" made in the late 60's, with Nargis and Pradeep Kumar, that explored this theme.

The Greek tragedys employed the device of catharsis often and its is an interesting concept in general as well, thats why I posted the details of it.

Hang in there, we all will make it through this. :)

im very sadden by the death of CP, indeed she was and inspirational mother & wife, i felt as if a family member has died for me, since im sooo glued & attached to this soap. I literally cried, even thou its just a serial, i guess its the connection & attachement I have with the TV, and also in a way is breaking me to continue to watch this show, i would have been satisfied if probably they put her in a coma or so, but DEATH is such a hard thing.
How can they kill a main character, i mean it is heart crushing to see Chandra Prabha died, especially by that evil Koyal. People that watch this show and are attacted to it im sure have the same view as mine, some may say im overreacting as it is just a serial, but alot over viewers bring this into their home and hearts, and as i said it is like a family member has died.
Perhaps i may be 1 less viewer
