I just caught up with the Thursday episode and I really found Karan's scenes disturbing. I realize he is frustrated and depressed but why to such an extent??
I have never believed that Love can be the only all-consuming factor in anyone's life. There is life beyond love. He is an educated man..............I did not find his rhetoric about sacrificing his life acceptable. Maybe my mindset finds it unrealistic. I would rather he start thinking about how to turn the situation favorable to himself.
Ofcourse I realize it is a serial and a certain amount of melodrama is needed to keep the audience entertained.
But does anybody else feel like me??

I think I already depressed by love I find myself in such a state that he, love is a feeling too strong and just go crazy like I said in my post a little love to depressive suicidal and yes I did not find his childish stage or another I understood his pain.

Love is a funny feelings and emotions too great to be strong in order to live with in case of disappointment at being loving

For some people, love doesn't hit like a wave....it hits like a tsunami. <I know, it's a cheesy comparison, but I like the picture it conjures up in my mind.>

Depending on a person's personality, whether they were loved by anyone and told they were loved, whether they saw other people in love, but never felt it could happen, love is like a basic need. Again, for some people. And when they have it enter their lives, it is overwhelming. It's like a drug. Because you have a person who has so much love inside of themselves to give. And who prizes whatever love is given in return to them.

Karan lost his mother when he was young. His father is hardly father-of-the-year. The family is not affectionate with each other nor do they spend time with each other except at meals. And Karan's a sensitive soul to begin with. Hence, falling in love for him is a very deep experience and an extension of himself. He gives it his all (taking care of Abha, making sure she understands his feelings, etc). And it hurts him very deeply to have it disappear from his life.

You raise a good point gp00 that Karan might have really missed love and affection since his childhood.
But he seems pretty close to his daadi and she seems to have given him lots of love and affection so it was not like he was exactly starved for affection.
I agree that he is irrevocably involved with Abha now and that is causing him such extreme distress. But I just wish that they had shown him with more mental and psychological strength. 😊
